I don't know much about gold sovereigns at the moment but as i reached the 100 oz of silver it was time to put a little yellow stuff in the mix ,and was happy with this addition.I am sure it will not be the last @caloundracats .cheers

Any of u know if sovs are worth buying for non UK people.?? Or are there any other coins favored by EU outside UK?? Looking to buy my first gold also.

The British Sovereign  is the most widely traded gold coin in the world. There is constant and excellent liquidity in most countries in the world.

Congrats on a lovely coin.  I have been eyeing sovereigns, too.  Instead of just going the straight-up bullion route (1/4 ounce Eagles), I am thinking it's better to add some history and numismatic flair to the stack, assuming the premium isn't too much.

sovereigns are very addictive but great fun, what to buy, what year, what run you are going to choose, fun and heartache, like being married but at least you can sell the coins.  Only joking. Ha Ha.

Congratulations on your first Sovereign!   Lovely coin.  Good looking.  Great size.  Great recognition and deep history.   Enjoy it.  I remember my first.  Still get a kick from them.  Prefer the older over the new mirror finish but they are all soooo good.  Whenever I see a gold Sovereign it makes me think of civilization and progress and thrift and .... happiness
