I still don't know if I will buy any pandas at all, but this design is very nice. BTW what do you guys mean when you say "pick up a tray of silver"?

A tray of silver is 15 pandas, they are shipped in trays of 15

I'm presently in Shanghai. Got the call today. Picking up my reserved 2018 Pandas on Monday at Bank of China branch. So excited! Beautiful coin. Now have 2000 - 2018 silver pandas.

PS was advised to delay large purchases until next summer. High mintage will drag down prices once the euphoria passes. Just repeating what I was told by my trusted Chinese coin advisor/supplier.

hardly surprising after so many years, there's only so many angles you can depict a panda.

You mean there's only so many PC angles of the Panda you can depict. In a few years we might have some interesting depicted angles. This would make the series more interesting than it is.

Am I the only person who thinks this looks like it was drawn by a 15 year old kid?  Don't get me wrong, I like the pandas but its pretty poor in my eyes.

I never saw the beauty until I got a panda coin myself. Pictures do not do the coins justice until you see them yourself at different angles especially when you can see the skills required to differentiate the blacks & whites of the panda.

Hi all! I'm in Shanghai and picked up my 2018 Panda! So happy. I love my Pandas! Have 2000-2018 BU, 1997 in original mint plastic, 2014 Lunar Panda, a few commemorative Pandas. Btw 2000 Panda is not shown. To be graded.
