You are right, @ShinyTreasure, it is absolutely normal to be a bit nervous at very beginning.
Usually, when this type of transaction is made with payment after delivery, the deal is made publicly, transparent, on the sale post; (of course, delivery address and bank details are exchanged in private messages). In this way you will be somehow covered by the entire community. The buyer who will ask for delivery first is usually an established forum member and others can vouch for him. Greetings!
I found TheSilverForum a few years ago and have finally registered an account.
I have some silver in England I would like to sell using this forum as I don't want to add to eBay's massive profits. Hopefully, I can play a small part to limit the crony capitalism these mega corps and corrupt governments get up to.
I am moving to Malta soon too so I hope to get some advice from forum members about buying / selling bullion in Malta. Perhaps I can make some friends that live there through this site too. I would prefer not to sell my silver and take it to Malta but the weight will be problematic when catching my flight!
