IOM Angels direct from Pobjoy, received few weeks ago and finally had some spare time to take some photo's
They arrived sealed, but thought the material is a bit too flimsy and prefer them in Quadrum caps

Yep. The 39mm has a snug fit. I think the 38mm would be too small and make the foam wobble? I've re-opened one and attached a photo.
The coin fits nicely in the case but I did noticed that the coin is tightly against the case, which can be good as it stops it from moving.

3x QB's from Coininvest and decided to house them in the Lichthouse Everslab's purchased from the Coin Gallery
However one of the has a nasty scratch on the Queen's cheek and emailed to Coininvest.

Found a nice e-bay deal for the Jubilee Edition of Michael Marsh Gold Sovereign to complete the book collection!
The Jubilee Edition has great colour scans/photo's.
EDIT: I still need to get hold of the 2nd Edition for the half sov! (at a reasonable price) doh!

Anonymous Mint Bitcoin 1oz copper... I was curious about the design and had to see it up close. 1935 Crown... I just like the St George and the dragon theme at the moment...

The square caps are the 'Lighthouse Quadrum' bought from Andy Jack on E-bay. Super reliable coin supplies man. Few TSF'ers bought bits and bops from him too.

Yep, the Round caps are airtites indeed and I got the from Amazon UK. They were 26quid for 10! ouch! But thats the cheapest that I could find... I'm sure some one may find them cheaper?

@FrostStart small and focus on a particular series that you personally like.  I started getting 1 of each series that I was considering before I committed with stacking. Although I was and still constantly adjusting, over the weeks/months my stacking goal became clearer. I've also learned a lot on the and forum especially which gold coins are good to stack . So keep learning, do your research and don't haste with your purchases and make sure you don't overpay (obviously).
Set yourself a realistic goal/target and then work out a monthly budget for your PM (precious metals) purchases. I use a percentage, for example I spend or set aside 10% of my income for PM, at the moment. I like this method because my budget can go up or down should I earn more or less (as I also work freelance). That % will hopefully change in the next couple months, when I have a better financial outlook. Some people have different ideas but this works for me.
Ive learned this method from a little book called The Richest Man in Babylon. I highly recommended this book for stackers, I think you still can find the audiobook on YouTube.

Silver and gold are going up in all currencies, not just GBP.... price action does not reflect news. Price action foreshadows trends and front runs events that eventually make the news.
The secular driving factors are the same as they have been for the last 2 decades - unsustainable increases in national debt and central bank policy that increases the risk of systemic failure.  We had a cyclical breather between 2011 - 2015 while technologies like cloud and shale oil offered temporary respite, but these have been overwhelmed by the ongoing tide of government profligacy.
Nobody said that the progress has to happen in a straight line or at a constant pace. That would be too easy.  We've had slow, stuttering periods.. now we're in the middle of an accelerated period. Roll with the punches and keep a long term perspective.
 

I'm still learning about sovereigns but I was wondering why the newer sovereign's seem 'browner' compared to the older ones? I don't own sovereigns yet to compare myself.
I do understand they are struck in 22 carat (11/12 gold and 1/12 copper?) to make the coins harder and more durable but I can't help wondering why modern sov's seem browner and especially seeing this photo on this thread:
