To be honest, if I had waited til now, they would have been even cheaper for me as the gbp slumped further against the yen. I am a rabid buyer of any uk stuff priced in gbp as the yen/gbp rate is very very much in my favour. I bought these two for 50,000 yen thereabouts June 13th. Today I could buy them for 45,000 yen thereabouts (and I have been fyi) That's a 37 quid difference in gbp - 315-37 = ? if you were buying in gbp to give you some idea of what happened in yen terms re its purchasing power shift against the gbp over this month.
 
Right now I know so many people who are taking advantage of the exchange rates to online shop in the UK from abroad. Best Xmas sale ever !

One of my biggest Sterling silver buys on ebay.
A 492g sterling silver salver, which works out as around 14.6 ozt at about £12.27 an ozt delivered.

My plan for the future is NEVER to pay any premiums for silver whatsoever.

That's good to hear. I wasn't worried about the 1/2 1989 as I bought it from a recognized numismatic JNDA registered company. The full sov, I raced halfway across Tokyo to get it for 72,000 yen when I saw it offered at a shop (about 2-3 year ago).

Today it came a 2009 1/4oz goldpanda, just a lovely coin
Also it turned uo a 1oz silverpanda 1995 short twig, small date and it was a microdate

Picked the 1/2 sov up for about 100 quid or so a couple of years ago and the full sov for about (350 - edit) quid a few years ago and happy to know they are not fakes.
