  1. My silver 2oz portrait had the same "dandruff" problem as yours. Decided to keep it and send it to NGC for grading and conservation rather than jump on the return merry go round with the RM.
  2. My advice is do not do it. Keep the coin in the capsule and place the capsule in the flip. That's my method when sending coins for grading.
  3. Thanks to @powercoin for refunding the cancellation fee, Thanks to fellow members for you positive comments, in particular @golddiggerdave, thanks mate.
  4. contacted my AM today as my gold 2oz plain Portrait was not in my open orders but my 2oz silver is. AM told me it is because plain edge is not being released until next month.
  5. I ordered the 2oz gold and 2oz silver Gothic Crown quartered arms via my AM. My open orders displays the 2oz and 5oz silver Gothic portrait, but not the 2oz gold. I have been trying to contact my AM directly since Thursday without success. Looks to me like the
  6. The RM use 48 Tracked service for returns. This does not include insurance, so if the coin is lost in the post you may end up out of pocket. If I return coins to the RM I use special delivery which includes insurance and pay for it myself.
  7. That was my coin, have listed another for £4500
  8. Yes. It is annoying because the order included free shiipping to UK, because the order was cancelled before the coin was shipped power coin did not incur that cost.
  9. I received my 2oz Gold plain edge Gothic yesterday. I was out, so the DHL delivery person was kind enough to drop it over my driveway gate, luckily the coin was not damaged.
  10. I am still waiting on my plain edge. I was wondering how it can be distinguished from the milled edge coin on the NGC submission forms, any advice is much appreciated.
  11. My Gothic crown order 2oz gold(plain edge) should arrive tomorrow. The second coin release is 1st or 2nd week in February.
  12. My name is Goldhunter and I am a Flipper. Phew, feel better for getting that of my chest. Just taken my first step on the road to recovery
  13. Fair play to the RM that they do not charge a cancellation fee, unlike some companies such as Power Coin that charge 15%.
  14. Hi Stefan I decided to cancel my order after waiting 2 months for it to come in stock, and incur the 15% cancellation fee. I have put it down to experience. Imagine it the Royal Mint charged a 15% cancellation fee, they would be toasted on social media.
  15. Can any of my esteemed fellow TSF members lend me 5k to buy the 2oz gold? I will repay once I have flipped it.
  16. I ordered a coin from them 2 months ago, has not been despatched to me yet, so decided to cancel. They charge a 15% cancellation fee(about £60 for my order) which is excessive for a distant selling product that they have not even despatched yet. Something to consider if ordering from them.
  17. Apparently the Royal Mint are releasing another coin series next week entitled "British Monarchs" and starts with Henry VII. Spread over 3 or 4 years with 3 to 4 releases per year. Coins available in sizes 1,2 and 5oz gold and silver. My head is totally done in !!!
  18. Some members have had quality issues with this new sovereign, but with over 98% achieving a 70 grade in the NGC census, so far , I think the Royal Mint should be congratulated on the quality of these sovereigns. I would have been very unlucky if my coin had not achieved a 70 grade.
  19. Just had an email from Louise at "Coins of the realm" informing me that my 2022 sovereign has achieved a 70 grade.
