  1. After 69 pages this threads finally getting good!
  2. Thanks thats very helpful @CollectForFun Is the same true for the first coin also? Is the 2oz kook a proof? It’s got a tarnished rim so has been handed at some point. I thought i had seen somewhere that the commemorative coins were minted by the royal mint.
  3. Hi @Stuntman thanks for the reply! That is pretty much my assessment although i have limited knowledge. From what i can tell a couple of them are minted by the royal mint but the rest just seem like the “limited edition commemorative” type coins. Didn’t know about the TDC coin. Agree with you on the designs, some are very easy on the eye some are hideous lol. If anyone else has any more info then would be very helpful!
  4. I was recently given this silver coin collection from a relative of around 30 coins. 5 or so of them are bullion eagles/maples etc. The rest are coins i know nothing about. Can’t imagine they are that rare due to the dates but just wondered if anyone knew what collection if any they are part of and who minted them? Any ideas on rough values/or offers!? Gold is my thing to not so clued up on this type of silver coin but find some of them quite beautiful and interesting. Any help much appreciated i know everyone has been getting flustered over the new sovereign!
  5. I have the royal coat of arms 1oz coin and the design of this for me is just too similar, i wish they did this first and then released the coat of arms 1oz. Plus i like gold to look gold. But still like the design, hoping they get released in bullion version then I’ll buy a few!
  6. Received these and a stamp collection today but i know nothing about most of the coins! If anyone knows anything about them then interested to know! They are all mostly proof, the capsules are scratched but coins look good. Going to have a proper look later when i get home from work.
  7. Do you need to load your RM account up with money first or is debit payment quick enough.
  8. What do we thing a sov will go for AFTER they are all sold from RM at 9.01am on Monday?
  9. @Martlet @Paul yeah good points totally agree! Interesting to see what 2022 brings for gold and other asset classes
  10. Curious but do we think we will ever see sub £1000 prices again? I know prices boom and bust on a lot of things but you tend to find the floor price gets set higher each time and the ceiling price is limitless over a limitless timescale. I wonder what golds floor prices is now? £1200?
  11. Just in time for when the 2022 sovs come out. Great
  12. Can someone explain what trial Of the pyx even is? Lol
  13. Dont know whether to be happy or annoyed that gold is holding very steady at the moment!
  14. 115 YO!? What’s the secret!? Im 31 and feel like I’ve got another 30 in me max lol. back to gold price - hopefully can pick some up on the bottem end of this yo-yo
  15. If you think about the queens beasts the lion was the first and is one of the most popular designs ever. As a first design to a series i think this coin is lacking. I think thats why there’s still gold proofs available. If i do get one it will be gold bullion so will avoid the hype for now but will be a potential gainer should the series gain traction
  16. Is there anyway of putting the £300 a month into increasing your passive income? otherwise yup sovereigns
  17. Hmm not blown away by this at all. To be honest the whole beast theme has worn thin on me. Have the full QB 1oz gold set and completor, but yet more beasts? I hope the design is better than that. Pleased to hear its no JC, he did great but again I’m a bit bored of his newer designs they’ve turned a bit cartoony. Im hoping the 2022 sovereigns don’t disappoint.
