This forum has everyone of every shape and size. White, Asian, black, men, women, conspiracy theorists, lunatics, the Marxists, the anarchists, the agitators, and people who in many instances, have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Heck there’s even an ethnic Irishman @James32 and an Ulster man @treetop1280who like to cause troubles in the many various threads. All are welcome.

Is just the sad fact that most of the market for these coins has died. The US had a lukewarm reception for a series of “greatest generation “ coins. The youngest of this group is nearly 100 and the nostalgia and memories are fading.
The history is important, but maybe not old enough to fall into classic collector territory.

I came home once and told my wife that I’d spent £100 on socks. She told me I was mad. But the £100 was a deposit on my new car with its registration including the letters SO**KS.

If the holes in your socks are in different places then just wear 2 pairs per day.
There’s no need to divert funds away from gold. Just be resourceful.

I play the GSR personally instead of looking at price. I like to work on quantity stacking for now in the accumulation phase.
I'd say investing in PM's and personal goals depend on age and which stage of life you're at so it's relative for everybody.

Ahh the secret is to rapidly replace what you sell by buying something fresh instantly. Renewable stack with no added cost. Your cost average remains the same and you still have activity in the market.
Also keep adding to pot when possible, longer term it will all make sense/ take care of itself.

This is overkill in my opinion. The 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings £2 coin was obviously issued a mere 5 years ago.
Is this the best you can do RM?

I’m not complaining, but “Starting in 2024…” sounds like this is going to be another range.
I’m just thinking how about they just honour their prior commitment to the British Monarchs range instead? 😟

That sounds like a Rothschild conspiracy theory. Wait, did I say "conspiracy theory"? I meant trading strategy:
The Business ‹ London banking house :: The Rothschild Archive
Nathan Mayer Rothschild’s strategic vision extended beyond mere financial dealings. In the early 19th century, he established a Europe-wide network of messengers and carrier pigeon stations. These channels allowed him to gather information that could impact his investments. As a result, he gained a reputation for being first with the news. Legend has it that during the Battle of Waterloo in June 1815, other speculators closely watched Rothschild’s stocks to predict the outcome. Shortly after the battle concluded, long before anyone else knew the victor, he began selling stocks. The panic-selling that followed led everyone to assume that Napoleon had won and Europe was lost. However, Rothschild astutely bought up everything in sight, turning the situation to his advantage
