1 x 2002 half sovs......very very slowly cornering the market on these, i reckon at this rate i will own all that were minted...in about 6000 years.
 
Also looking to push the button on a 5oz silver proof 2015 panda, but not sure.......

My average price/oz on 21 ozs is £758/oz.
 
That said I am going to my local dealer tomorrow so that my be an ounce or two higher.

Not buying. Converting/saving/squirrelling/any other word which bends the truth.

I just need it to stay below 10 for a few days for me to get the cash ready!!! Bit of silver, plus a 1 oz gold coin is my plan - either a Libertad (finally found a supplier!) or a RM lunar sheep from Goldline.

Today I bought 5 mixed year Sovereigns from HGM

Right, Birmngham Coin Fair seemed absolutely superb this time round, it certainly pays to wait for the larger quarterly shows.

Anyway, I made a few purchases.....

First was a 2014 silver britannia, the bloke was adamant at £30 which was a bit of a joke, but little did he know it was a mule, so I paid up and walked. Sweet.

Secondly was a 2013 kookaburra F15 privy, mintage of 7600 for £17. Happy with that.

Finally, I purchased my first gold. Granted they are only 1/20oz, but they are the 2000 series 1 lunar dragon from the Perth Mint and the 1997 large date panda.
Before I say how much I paid for these, I'd like an indication of value (incase I paid over the odds).

It's a 5oz proof and is without its box, but it seems to be in great condition.

Agreed price was £72 delivered and its reserved for me, so £14.40 per ounce. I'm sure I can find an appropriate box for it.

£10 for the Queen Mum coins is absolute steal.
