@fehk2001 also graciously sent me a nice addition of a 1988 China 5 Yuan and a neat NGC Slab condom!


Lastly, I blew the rest of my PM budget on a 1937 Edward VIII Gold Sovereign Proof (Replica)...yes, I am an idiot!😆

Got my hands on this beauty. 1889 Melbourne full Sovereign. Although not rare not many in this condition available at a few quid over spot.

The price also sets a new record, breaking the all-time record high of £1278.06 from 3/9/19.    I wonder if it'll get a mention on the TV news?  If it does, price will get pumped higher as more people jump onboard.

Jumped straight up to £1298 in GBP.    Looks like we might break £1300 today then. 

Using their cost calculator - buy 1 oz of gold and sell it after a year would cost you £49.77 .  To store long term, say 10 years, a whopping £383.45  .  I'll give it a miss thanks and stick to my hidey place where it costs me absolutely nothing and don't have the worry over the holding company going pop and losing all my gold.
