  1. We thinking sell out before release on some sets?🤣
  2. If they all bounce looks like the collectors will get 0 and the flippers at 9 will get them all 🤣
  3. I got the confirmation emails to. On the 4 coin set it was letting me subscribe to a yearly thing but bypassed it too quick to read
  4. @paulmerton Some man! Hopefully our orders don't get cancelled because they were before 9am. I'm away to try find 3k now
  5. @Heirlooms I followed this closely to with the rise of Pokemon card flipping during covid. The general census was that one pays taxes, employs people and brings value to the customer. The flipper only brings value to them. I disagree and both are price gouging and done what many did once the prices levelled off. Never bought from them again for taking advantage of people that had bought from them for a long period of time. People tend to hate flippers because it stops them from getting the huge return or the coin they want. But the dealers do the same thing.
  6. @westminstrel no but doesn’t mean they couldn’t this time. I think there is now a lot more demand for assets compared to last proper special design in 2017. Limit is usually 3 per household from memory?
  7. @SilverJacks Should be fine to secure from past experience.
  8. @BackyardBullion Good and bad. We will now have less replacements to pick from - if any 🤣
  9. No money has been taken from my account for the 1/4oz gold. Anyone the same? I’m guessing it won’t come off till its dispatched.
  10. Just to add if anyone has any idea. I wanted another quarter ounce. Does anyone know if its 1 per household? Edit: Never mind it is 1 per household
  11. Upped or reduced mintage I wonder. Feel a lot of people will have the FOMO from the last series because they are new to collecting so will want in on this one.
  12. My thoughts to it was cameo before conservation and this looks 10x better. Happy with a look upgrade though.
  13. The only 2 things I can give my opinion on is watches and whisky/rum mate. Watches: Is a long game as the business model has changed and if you sell any of your in demand watches you will be blacklisted. So essentially you need to have a lot of spare cash to get every model you will ever need and then decide to make the profit. So a very long game and also a few different factors make it hard to even get in the door. 1. Salary - You will always need 10-20k on hand in case the phone call comes in for the model you have registered interest for. 2. Taking an initial loss - You will most likely take a loss on your first watches/watches this way it helps the dealer see that you are in to watches and not a flipper. 3. Building the relationship - The dealer needs to want to give you the in demand models so you will need to be quite friendly. 4. Sheer luck. You could wait 6 months for a watch. You could wait 2 weeks for a watch. You could wait 3 years. Its a hard game to realise a stable return. Whisky/rum: As someone who works in that industry I would say that if you do not then it will be hard to make a good return. You need to know that everyone that works for these companies can get these bottles for usually less than half of retail price. So you will always need to be on the lookout for deals and it will take up some amount of time to try this. As you stated there is also the space issue. I currently own 48 Bottles of whisky and I have maxed out the amount of room I have for it. Even having this amount of bottles wont make it worthwhile in the long run. I feel a lot of people who have big collections of whisky tend to work in the industry. Could be wrong but that's all from personal experience over the last 5 years.
  14. IMO: People stack silver due to the pumpers telling them they can become rich. I find on the forum people start stacking silver and after some time realise their losses and change to stacking gold. I think normal people thinking silver can go to $100 or whatever the made up number is gives them a bit of hope. However, none of these people offer sound financial advice and when people lose the pumpers are not held accountable. Any investment that you start in the hole at -20% and then even further minus due to premium should be a red flag for most.
  15. Engravers, new sovereign and the new beasts. Uh oh. I was slowing down as well.
  16. @Shell I have the BUNC versions apart from the couple that are really expensive. Nice change. Last time I did 1oz Bullion gold. I think i’m going to do quarter ounce bullion this time because I am skint for the next few months.
