OK, for someone who wasn't going to buy anymore physical silver, I've just picked up at a small antique centre a 1927 Wreath crown. Not going to say yet what I paid for it, but I had to use my best acting skills to keep myself from grinning too much as I knocked him down a few more quid. Could do with a little help from our resident experts though on the grade of the coin.

Received a $20 Liberty Head from HGM today.  I'm not too fond of the head but with spot being at the lowest point for me and not owning one, I had to buy it.  Since I was paying for postage already I padded the order with 3 half sovs for the £6.50 bracket.  I got 3 different heads so quite pleased.
 
The coin is 34mm but I've squeezed it into a 32mm ring so that it remains in a H sized capsule.  @Lindeman to make it easier to fit into the capsule I used a 40.6 instead of the 39.  Not perfect but better than going up a capsule size. 

A 2005 1 oz kookaburra. And that completes my 1990-2015 date run! My first and probably last silver date run.

My 1/4 oz Canadian platinum maple against a 1oz silver maple for reference.

Postman delivered my 1997 silver maple. Got if from ebay where the seller advertised it as 'poor condition'.
All it had was some minor tarnishing that came off with a silver cleaning cloth and now looks as good as new.

Wasn't expecting these until Monday and was surprised that Parcel Force put them out for a Saturday delivery today.
Bit gutted having bought at £727/oz.

Today I bought yet another 1997 silver maple, total now at five of this year date.

A 20 gram 9ct gold necklace with built in pendant, a large carnelian surrounded by garnets, Id estimate half the weight is stones, £25 so chuffed to bits with that. id estimate a value of well over £250.
 
Whilst the stones are big, the solid mounting on the back is substantial, But I don't think the gold weight will influence the price too much, more the style. We will probably take this to a local auction that has a monthly antiques and collectable sales and see what they estimate it at. If the moneys right it will go into the sale with online bidding from around the world, if not it will go into our joint stack. 
 
Antique centers are mostly a waste of time but once in a while something nice comes up:)
 

My best value sovereign from BBP with the 20% eBay voucher turned up this morning.  They gave me a 2015 in a capsule for a delivered cost of £164.56.

Bought a 1 oz gold year of the sheep, (royal mint type) from Baird's. It was a toss up between that and the 50 Peso coin which has become next months target purchase instead. Almost £100 cheaper than the year of the horse I bought this time last year.
