100g (2021) The Silver Forum Bars - Serial Number Reservation Thread @ChrisSilver Please can you lock this thread and set to open at 5pm Sunday 5th September Thanks! PLEASE NOTE THAT RESERVATIONS START AT 5 PM (UK Time) on Sunday 5th September2021 This thread will be open for 24 hours from 5pm on 5th September 2021 for people who have PRE-ORDERED and PAID for a 100g Silver Forum Bar. The reason for putting this thread up now is to allow people to know where and when to reserve their numbers. How it works Serial number reservations are done on a first come first served basis Only comments on this thread will secure a specific number - any private messages/emails will not count The order of comments on this thread forms the basis for the first come first served order. All you need to do is add a comment with the serial number of the bar you want to have. PLEASE CHECK PREVIOUS COMMENTS BEFORE REQUESTING A NUMBER I will do my best to monitor the thread but each person has their own responsibility to check what numbers have been previously requested. To avoid disappointment make sure to check and select a number nobody else has requested. Duplicate requests I will do my best to monitor the thread and advise on any duplicate requests. To help with this if you could please scan the previous requests and comments to see what has been requested this will make mine and your life much easier! If you have made a duplicate request and I catch it and let you know, please feel free to add a new comment on this thread with the 2nd choice. Does the Purity of Gold and Silver Matter? Is anything less than 999 Just a waste of Time?

I have observed that Summer tends to be a quieter time of year for PM's. In addition from September onwards you start to see the next calendar years designs start to come out, so in the next few weeks we can expect to see the first 2022 design out there somewhere! As for big spikes, Christmas is always a busy time for anyone that's a retailer.

Look at the annual charges for your work pension vs opening a SIPP. Often work pensions have bulk purchase power so have very low management fees. I have been self employed 7 years this December and have kept up monthly payments into my last job's pension scheme because the fees are astronomically low compared to other providers. Worth checking the criteria so you keep qualifying too, some might not maintain good rates after you leave unless you contribute every month.

UPDATE 31st August 2021 OK - the preorder period ends tonight! We have got bars available for everyone on the waiting list so I will be messaging out to you all over the course of tomorrow, please keep an eye out for my message. The plan is to collect payment during the week and then on Sunday 5th September open a thread where we can let everyone know what serial numbers are available and take first come first served requests for specific numbers. Im pretty sure the original poster is asking about minting their own rounds/coins to be like actual minted coins, very different to poured silver 🙂

The problem is that they are just so bloody small! I have seen perth mint 1 oz ones on Atkinsons before, but no smaller than that.

9/10 times that question is asked to scare the customer into an upsell of special delivery. If you try to send something worth £75 then they will say, "signed for delivery won't cover it you will have to use special delivery if you want to send it with insurance". Of course, it costs over double the postage and the way the post office is set up these days the post office franchise owner takes 10% of all postage costs that goes through their counter. I see it all the time, little old ladies strong armed into sending a present to their grandchildren by £50+ parcel force special insured bullpoo insurance. Because the Lego set they are sending is worth more than £50 and weighs over 2kg.
