Just an old coin I have had since my 21st birthday.

1885 Queen Victoria gold Sovereign, with the Young Head design by Royal Mint chief engraver William Wyon. Production of this coin ran between 1871 and 1887.

The reverse features the traditional George and Dragon design. The S mint mark below the Queen's neck denotes the Sydney Mint in Australia; the first of three Royal Mint refineries opened in Australia during the Victorian era.
