I’ve watched Backyard Bullion for ages and he always recommends The Silver Forum so I finally got around to signing up.  I’m basically a UK collector who enjoys the amazing variety of 1oz silver coins available from the different mints but focus on coins from the UK . I buy the odd sovereign to celebrate special occasions.

Hello there, I'm new to this metal stacking thing, I inherited 2 gold sovereign coins when my mum passed last year and it has sparked an interest in shiny things, I have some more sovereigns and 5 britannias and some silver bars and a couple of tubes of silver britannias, I have also bought a couple of copper bars, not to make anything on them but simply because I  find copper very pretty. Hopefully I'll get the hang of this forum and get trading too.

I have to disagree with you.....I would classify silver into 2 categories, Bullion and Numismatic.
Bullion: Better protection against inflation and against governments. Look what happened in South America when some countries went bankrupts, and look at some countries in the Middle East and Africa, all their local currencies have devalued multiple times. However, the people who kept their wealth in Precious Metals (Gold/Silver) were not effected by this, and I have many friends from some of those countries who appreciated the precious metals and how it saved their wealth when everyone else was crying.
Numismatic: Certain coins will bring much more value beyond their intrinsic value, I can bring many examples from many mints which those Numismatic silver coins/rounds/bars are selling for unprecedented amount on eBay.
So for me, Silver💝 is a key investment.

So my 5oz replacement came. Fingers and toes crossed.
Looked good😁 Louped it and I’m very happy with it. The box lid doesn’t stay open though…..Photos are bad but take my word for it.
It’s got a lot of black belly button fluff but nothing you don’t expect.
Not being a conspiracy theorist, but the replacements are cleaner and better quality and @GoldDiggerDave has been AWOL. Just saying.

These are relatively minor imperfections, but I've paid too much not to expect better.
