I think this is good news from ebay.  Just received an email that from the 11 October any jewellery sold for more than £500, you can post directly to ebay who will authenticate and post on to buyer. Any returns goes the same way.  This will stop scammers posting back a Christmas card or a swapped item. 
I wished they would include gold coins.

I have had an identical experience to others because of Tavex's deficient computer system. Part of my paid for order was rejected in the end and offers of alternatives to the 2022 Jubilee sovereign were not acceptable. However good Tavex's customer service may be in general, it does not make up for a computer system that does not give an accurate and clear indication of the stock available for any particular coin when some one is ordering. Such a facility is available at other dealers, for example Bullion by Post, and it really ought to be at Tavex as well, so as to prevent disappointed and frustrated customers. I cancelled my entire order to express my dissatisfaction.

Spoke to Tavex. Partial refund for my troubles and 2 coronation sovs coming in 2 week for £365 each delivered. Love a bit of haggling

I'm sure this one I got is genuine. it sticks to a magnet like superglue, is the size of a dustbin lid and Charles looks like a spitting image puppet. 

What I am surprised about is why are you still buying sovereigns from Costco at £400 when you can get them much cheaper on this forum. 
Another thing, what if this crook at Costco is not doing this and swapping REAL with those FAKE Chinese copy. Many might not realise this until they get home. 
There should be a camera to have seen him do this. Report as he is obviously a crook. No one puts someone else's property into their pocket by accident.

The Tesco Credit Card transaction for bullion sovereigns with Hatton Gardens has cleared and to my surprise there is Zero additional payment charges.

Regrets: Buying a load of coin capsules I'll never be able to fill haha.
Scams: I had a few Facebook related issues with randoms offering to sell me gold at 'mates rates' even though they didn't know me from Adam. Yeah, thanks. No thanks.
Trades that went wrong: I sold a coin on the promise of payment immediately upon receipt of the coin being delivered. The buyer kept me waiting for payment days after delivery. Mailed them each day, kept it polite but they were all 'Chill, it's in hand' I though yeah but my friggin' money isn't in mine lol. Once burned, well, once burned. My terrible list is tiny but they're on it haha. Put me off selling anything lol.
Coins I don't want anymore: None, Because I didn't buy any ridiculous coins like that Azazi that can't find a permanent home with any member both foreign or domestic lol.
Best decisions: Not going completely mad on gold and seeing it as a bit of a hobby rather than selling the carpets, pets and furniture to buy some decades old one of a kind proof set that'll be locked away and not see the light of day until the kids cash it in after I'm dead.
