I have just had a call from my bank, they have concluded their investigation and concluded that I was blameless in this scam and have refunded me in full. This is a great result.
I would like to thank all the members on this tread for their support and good wishes. I would also specifically like to thank @BackyardBullion for setting up the victims pool and to all the members that so generously contributed to that. I was very touched by this and now thankfully will not need to make use of that. This is a great credit to the spirit and integrity of the members on this forum. Maybe the proceeds of that fund can form the backbone of a fund for future scam victims.

I guess it comes down to how much you want to sell your items. We could all put it on for what we consider market value but if it doesn’t sell then is it at current market value. I’d argue not.
It’s worth only what someone is willing to pay. Currently as many have said. Between £70-£80 per bar.

Yes, it's happening but I never leave feedback on such situations, too many things can go wrong nowadays so I accept their withdrawal. 

I think a good number of us, when starting on here as new members, started by buying and building up a bit of a reputation, as well as conversing on the forums, as well as consulting long term members for advice. Then, when selling a few bits, took the plunge and posted to buyers before payment, waiting for them to receive, review and then pay for the goods. Forum will work well for old and new alike 👍🏼
