As an American, my deepest sympathies to you Brits on the death of Queen Elizabeth.  What a long and magnificent life.  Virtually the only monarch most of us have lived under.

Definitely looks better than the one in the promotional photo posted on pg 52. Maybe it was just the angle of the coin in that first image that made it look to have not the sharpest strike.

I'm kind of in the same boat but in reverse so maybe we could come to an arrangement hehe? I'm not sure I can carry on collecting these in 2oz so thinking of swapping my 2oz Henry for a 1oz. I don't have any of the James' but now have (pending successful delivery) both a 1oz & 2oz George!

Gives the impression that while the whole rest of the world is about 100x more technologically advanced compared to 300 years ago, the Royal Mint has somehow managed to devolve in that time!

I have managed to order the 5oz, but the email states:

If I do get it, I will let you have the 1oz I ordered at cost (plus postage of course).

Well just called them up & apparently my orders didn't go through. 😕
I thought I was fine since the money had been taken but nope. Bloody 2nd market for me too now.
