Today I bought three 2oz kookaburras 1996, 2002, & 2003

Today my very rare 1/2oz lunar S1 mouse & rooster arrived with everything,I had the chance to buy the mouse a few months ago but decided I'd spent too much money,then wished I'd bought it LOL. Luckily I got a 2nd chance I bought the rooster as well , as my other has no case & cert.

Cully got mine too only thing that was a little bit odd was horse and goat packaged seperately and different Coa number than first six in set,lovely set to treasure though

Yes I agree there appears to be some spot mark on the coin or are they n the plastic cover!!!

Keith the spots are definitely on the coin and not the capsule, I will be returning it.

Paul in my eyes it's not excellent condition at all. Did he used different pic on eBay?

I've noticed the seller has another one listed, although it looks like he's using the same picture ( which isn't that clear)

Just received this lunar horse proof from an eBay seller in the US, advertised as " in excellent condition with no toning or milk spots noted". I'd appreciate your opinions.

There can't be many left now if there were 8 a couple of days ago.

When I ordered a set last night it was saying only 3 available, when I checked this morning it was saying 15 available ??? ( I think they're playing mind games).

Just bought the Perth Mint 2oz lunar series 2 proof set from Silber.corner.... So it's bread and jam for the next month, lol. I think this great forum should come with a health (wealth) warning.. :)

Definitely no secret. Natural light and get as close as I can with my iPad, take a few shots and pick the best.........

Just bought a 2002 full sovereign from Atkinsons for £213 :)

My first proof coin.

I'm still looking for a 2014 horse at a reasonable price.

Finishing it off with the 1kg?

It's a lot of money to tie up in one coin when there are soooooo many to choose from...

Just received my 2012 sovereign but now I have a dilemma / question I'd like to ask you guys. Do I leave it in it's original packing or put it in a capsule? I have to say I'm really liking the sovereign even its size.

Just bought a 10oz Perth Mint Lunar horse from STG. My first 10oz coin....

I think that was a great choice

 

I expect them to have a bit of a premium in the future over a normal sovereign (they already do a lot of places)

 

I don't find Sovereigns small, especially after you pop them in a ringed capsule, they seem much more sizable then.
