Can't see there being much money in flipping coins unless your lucky or buy Hugh amounts
  3. The 5 dollar liberty head looks a better buy
  4. One on bullion by post is even more expensive 🤔 https://www.bullionbypost.co.uk/world-coins/american-eagles/american-gold-quarter-eagle-250-indian-head/
  5. Think I'll buy this one 😂 https://www.apmex.com/product/209868/1913-2-50-indian-gold-quarter-eagle-pf
  6. On apmex they go up to 549 dollars which is £400 plus the postage you would be saving about £100
  7. Thanks for the replies, I completely agree with everyone's comments. RM are way over priced I really don't get how they come up with the pricing especially with there historical coins. They could make a killing if they lowered the prices. It's only I've got an account with them and can pay things off that I even consider buying from them. I love all the pre 33 gold coins and eventually want to collect them all just see they had the 2.5 dollar in stock but couldn't justify the price and you guys just confirmed that for me as well.
  8. I'm quite new to all this so not sure if there will ever be decent profit in stacking gold and silver. I think your money is safe with it but who knows what will happen. I think we are all living in hope really. Maybe rarer and nusmatic coins my rise in value more over the next 10/20 years than bullion coins. Shame a crystal ball can't tell us what the future holds
  9. Hi all I'm very new to all this, would any of you guys buy this coin at thus price from the royal mint. I know they are a bit over priced than other places but you've not got to worry about fakes with them and I have an account so wouldn't have to pay it all in one go. So way to expensive or a decent investment https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/ranges/historic-coins/commonwealth-and-world-coins/united-states-of-america/us-indian-head-gold-2.5-dollar-1908-1929-ef/
  10. Alot of sovereigns look a rose gold colour to me which I don't like. I know alot of people love them but I struggle to find them as nice as other gold coins. Some of the older different designs are nice Each to the own I spose
  11. Great stories people have. So nearly everyone is into this for investment as well as a hobby. So do you guys think that your stacks will bring you in a decent profit over the next 10/20 years
  12. Yep lol, seen his tins of c**p go for over £100 tho 🤬
  13. Check this one out, this guy sets up tins of old coins with fakes on the top to con people. Does say in the listing they are restrikes but its definitely set up to con people. Which he has done when you read the feedback https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OLD-BRITISH-COINS-JOB-LOT-TIN-OF-OLD-COLLECTION-BRITISH-/154569101647?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  14. I received a coin from the royal mint this week that has a few milk spots. Coin was a 1986 us silver dollar. Would you guys send it back and ask for a replacement?
  15. Actually you could he right I'm not 💯 sure about this coin will need to get it checked out. I've got a 1986 one of these which is definitely genuine and it does have a better feel to it
  16. I know it's not silver or gold but still a great coin and I can't believe the size of these things must be one of the biggest coins to ever be in circulation. 1797 cartwheel two penny
  17. Well someone brought it at just over £300 🤔
  18. Pictures are quite blurred I'll try and get a better one later.
  19. Not the clearest pictures, had this one for a while now
  20. Got this coming looks very clean for a cartwheel two penny Ive never had one of these What does every one think
  21. I was going to say that Kew gardens isn't the lowest mintage of the 50ps. I have the chance to buy a sliver proof 2009 Kew gardens and was thinking of getting it graded and sitting on it for a few years. Price might go up even more
  22. Nice collection, how much do you think a graded silver kew gardens will be worth in say 10 years down the line
  23. Thanks for the replys There asking for £50 so will have a look about see if there are any cheaper ones
