  1. Yep, and this is where the attack dog and display only weapons (only to be grabbed in cases of self defence) come in nicely. Hypothetically of course. For those who actually have anything of value 🤷‍♂️
  2. Indeed, silver will remain an industrial and lesser investment tool. Sadly I suspect it’s price will remain around 20-40 mark forever. * I have just realised this is the wrong part of the forum for this discussion apologies.
  3. It depends how unlucky you are I guess; example 1 crack head John Doe looking for a quick buck. Not a bad type of robber as he would attempt to get the quick items example 2 opportunist James Dee, again not a bad option as he would unlikely go looking example 3 systematic robber billy joe, this fella likely has tools. Has canvased the area and comes with a plan. Whether this dk head can get in your safe depends on your safe. example 4 The pro Brad pit. This guy knows you have a safe from tracing you on Facebook. He is prepped and knows your schedule. With this fella you’re fcuked basically.
  4. Absolutely, subjectivity is rife in the silver game. I don’t think it will ever be a trading tool though.
  5. You forget there will be 200 odd others trying to sell, if it’s 100oz bar or a kg uncut bar most would buy the latter.
  6. Did you test the fakes on the sigma? What did they read as? if not I don’t suppose I could test them? Postage at my cost?
  7. Buy a safe. Keep at home. Trust no one. Invest in a defensive dog and a clay pigeon shooting shotgun. That’s my strategy. Not that I own any pm personally, I used to, until I lost it on a mad, drunken boating accident. Now I own not a thing.
  8. I have a food sealer that vacuums and seals
  9. I vacuum store all my silver. Capsules, stacked then vacuum packed in plastic
  10. A fascinating thread here. I think the thing I respect the most from @LawrenceChardis the certainty that what I am buying is legit. I like the fact you are experts at certifying sovereigns. Worth a premium!
  11. Yer Atkinson are free postage to I noticed!
  12. Hi all, anyone know the best way to pick up a tube of 25 sovereigns? I’m assuming from a dealer? Can you get older sovereigns by the tube? Many thanks
  13. Yer good point. I think this is a mining village that use gold in this way.
  14. I am very careful to keep my yearly personal purchases less than 10k and only in person with cash from dealers.
  15. Which dealer is local to Milton Keynes? 😉
  16. Good idea. Thanks. Certainly much cheaper here than on other forums like Facebook.
  17. Same price though. With VAT. No cheaper here.
  18. Sharpes Pixley are selling cheap brits
  19. Just pop a couple of tubes in your hand luggage
  20. I always assumed gold and silver headed in the same direction!
