  1. I have just received four one ounce silver rounds , originally Canadian, which, including Special Delivery, came in at 28GBP each. The items, in great condition, were purchased from a TSF member. There are many items that I would love to purchase but I would rather wait and purchase from here rather than deal with the aggravation of importing.
  2. Sounds like a plan. They certainly can't do any worse
  3. Today I took delivery of four rounds of one ounce silver produced by Keith Neumeyer's First Majestic Silver Corp. I am also a shareholder in the company, I wonder if dividends can be paid in silver at some point :-).
  4. I can't think of any podcasts but, for easy to understand information on gold an silver, I would have to say that there are many decent YouTube videos. I would subscribe to the Backyard Bullion channel.
  5. It is good news that goods have arrived.
  6. I dont expect to sell any of my silver in my lifetime so I am happy to accumulate at the best price i can get.
  7. OK, let's see. A newly created company that is already late in submitting the annual statement - a five minute online job costing about 13GBP. One Director and if you click on his details his experience ranges from office cleaning (dissolved) to beigels (a post he held for five months). Not to be touched with a barge pole.
  8. I love silver as a thing of beauty but the subject matter is too depressing.
  9. I saw the Stones for free, they were worth that. In the very early '70s I also paid something like 3.50 for a Stones ticket at the Roundhouse. That was a waste of money. Maybe the sound systems of the day were poor.
  10. I would, begrudgingly, go with the Who. I remember seeing them many decades ago at a concert at the Oval cricket ground. Keith Moon playing his drums with a cricket bat. My better half, on the other hand, would opt for Queen, she is the cultured one.
  11. Welcome. As you know suicide among men of a certain age is the number one killer. More male suicides than death from road accidents. No one is immune from those dark places, more so than in the last few years. It can and does affect anyone and every one including myself. God bless.
  12. I so like the Pressburg Mint products.
  13. We saw during the pandemic the less than useless agency workers who came into to supplement the stricken workforce. Even today, at work, never a day goes by when I (and a thousand others) don't get a call from a customer stating that they haven't received anything from this company in ages. The reason? An item has been returned as undeliverable and so has been marked as "move away" so no more mails is sent to that address.
  14. One day, they will invent something that will do the job
  15. https://www.goldmoney.com/research/the-end-of-paper-gold-and-silver-markets Views on whether this is good or bad?
  16. I am close to completing two sets and will need to buy two boxes for the eleven pieces. I like the collecting.
  17. I don't tend to buy from Royal Mint but did notice that there are various cash back deals when purchasing RM products via Quidco (there may be similar deals with other cashback companies). From the looks of it, there seems to be a 3% cashback for new RM customers and this decreases to 1% for existing RM customers. Not a huge amount but better than a poke in the eye.
  18. Probably a good idea to start a new thread
  19. I would have to say, and I know that it is a geographical thing, but the majority of people here (including myself) seem to support the strikers. I was speaking with a RM middle manager who said that senior management want to tear up some 200 negotiated agreements.
  20. I once read the ingredients on a packet of Sainsbury's value chicken soup. It read suitable for vegetarians. I think we may have strayed off topic 🙂
  21. And when I read the poster's name, I read it as "the loner angers horse" so I guess I can't take the moral high ground on pedantry..
  22. I have been praying for them to get lost in the post so I can claim postage and compensation. I once had a box of Christmas presents returned to me about six months after I sent them.
  23. Four out of five large parcels have been delivered so far (£93 in postage). Not one delivered on time and one still in the wilderness.
