  1. Hello, I was wondering who uses a credit card to buy PM & goods? I own my own business so thats an option, but I was considering getting and using a credit card to buy a monthly purchase or Precious metals for personal use. I will pay it off in fiat & am going to remortgage next year and it should help my credit score. I was also wondering if I could somehow pay for private purchases on here or not?? Maybe I can transfer the balance to Paypal? The second reason is security, especially when buying on Ebay or from Europe. Correct me if I am wrong but would it be insured through a credit card. Of course I can also use it for other risky purchases like holidays. I have a card but i have never used it, so was also wondering what people have. I know there are a few cards linked to physical gold also?? What would the best strategy be?? Cash back card or something as I don't expect to get into debt.
  2. This is not fair. We can get shotguns like that, but they are shot guns. I have applied to join a range which opens up the doors to rifles, but single shot outside os .22. I think a decent 22 with a silencer would be more fun actually & cheaper to shoot. This is my 'weapon' Has sat in the safe all year! Its a fabulous gun for £500!
  3. How did this turn into guns and god? Im not so sure, but the USA was formed on some very fundamental Cristians & that still runs deep, especially in the south. Religion, blood lines & stuff like that does not die easily. This is not for this thread though. Just bought one of these last week with some silver squeeze trading profits (keeping it relevant LOL). It has the firepower to kill a rat!! 😛
  4. Nice gun. I wished I lived in the states as your allowed some amazing weapons. Not ideal I guess as gun crime is nothing in the UK. Sarcasm & moaning about everything seems to be the weapon of choice. 'Moaning Pomms' is what my assize friend calls us and I agree. Shotguns are common (I own one) but the people that use them are sensible The stuff I have seen on Youtube is scary - its totally normal to consider murder??? I dont see the logic or compassion of killing someone for breaking in to thier house to steal a TV. If you own a ton of PM's or advertise it or live a flash lifestyle in a s**** neighbourhood then perhaps its required.
  5. No I doubt it personally as I dont have my cash, but I am sure he has a mortgage in that term?? I have read that securing a 30 year mortgage ideally at a decent fixed rate for 10c years, not overspending & investing there difference in somehting decent (ie a business venture, stocks) is a good plan?? If your interest is 3% and you invest all your cash in somehting safe (like a dividend stock) that on average generates 3% thats fabulous over 35 years! Interest only is fabulous now, I wished I had done that (although I am on 2.3% I think), but I think it could be messy going forward. i have a year left on my fixed mortgage & I dont think they are finished with us yet with regards to the lock downs, stimulus & free money. Thats a lot more fear mongering, being locked in our houses & ideally higher property prices as people will be wanting to move and they have saved more cash for deposits. But as @KDave has said the inflation figures are out, we are due a stock market crsash & civil unrest as well as a war or two. That is not a good thing for proptery prices & they are in a bubble ready to burst 90% sure. Im up at least 70k on my house since I bought it & want to use that cash to refinance. Hoping it 100k by next year LOL. Hopefully I can refinance at the best rate possible July next year, but I will pull there trigger anytime if I see any signs of problems. I can see housing prices halving easily over a decade. Thats a bold statement I know.
  6. @MancunianStacker Is my mortgage advisor and very knowledgable. I highly recommend PMing him. I had an hour chat with him last year, He has not charged me and is great as he knows the real economy & is not some out of university financial muppet or a flash harry get rich quick prat. Im unfortunately fixed until next July, but I can see rates still low then I think I would choose the longest term at the lowest rate possible, ideally fixed for 15 years!!! I would break my terms as it will only cost me £2k in July, which long term is nothing if im on 2-3% for 15 years!! I can seriously see interest rates getting to 15% within that time frame.
  7. Just opened an initial position in Fresnillio timed the bottom of the dump quite well as it included the spread so never actually hit my buy in line. I shall add to it and hold if it dopes not go over 15%. Its gone up 2% whilst writing this, but i dont hold any expectations of it carrying on LOL. Shame I have only bought 50 shares, that would be one hell of a snipe trade with 1000 shares. Flipping with I had held GATO now!!! its gone up 9% today already. Edit: 3% up & I extracted a huge £20 LOL. Pays for my eggs benedict breakfast this morning inside a cafe! I can see a better buy in point for longer term holds in a few weeks. I was surprised to see it not sell off. obviously traders expect a big jump up tomorrow morning. Watching GATO and LOAD for some profit taking. I will add a grand into both. LOAD (Comstock) is preferable as the share price is half. Rather hold GATO though long term. Hecla has also done very well as I expertly predicted LOL. I dotty like where the price has come from though. Same with Comstock as the share price was in the £1 range not long ago!! Probably stop it tight.
  8. Interesting outlook and good sensible advice on commodity investing. Im glad he said that Uranium is just a short term overbought. Long term great. Good comments about people following the likes of Rick Rules judgements. Kind of sums up how i am feeling about 'investing' at the moment. Especially the emotional trading.
  9. *Gamblers 😛 Would be nice to have a big run down to be fair on Gold, but I don't see it now. I almost bought a gold coin yesterday, but spent the money on Silver. Which is also not looking that cheap compared to this time last year.
  10. No not especially after SOL, ALBA & GREATLAND in the red this year. I should learn my lesson, especially in such a risky year for the stock market. I liked Sharpe - nothing has changed. War mongering is so silly if you ask me why you get into the nitty gritty reasons. The middle east invasion probbaly over oil or ancient religious rights, blood lines? A lot of the official c**p we are told is fake & the Cristians created America. or stargate type tech - thats for a different thread. It must be hard to pull the trigger on another human if need be especially if your forced into it. I own a couple of guns but would not feel comfortable shooting someone over politics or greed. If I was chucked into a trench in NAZI occupied France then I would be quite an asset I think. I remember my grandfather saying the germans who shot off his arm were saying 'sorry tommy' Now that was a life changing thing. Crossing the street from people that are 100% healthy is madness. I want to be out of the markets for now, especially dodgy areas. I will stick to the silver majors for now I think, especially if they slump. My inner wisdom it telling me not to do it. take from that what you want. I bought a load of premium physical silver today at a eye watering £30.5 an ounce. Im used to buying £20 an ounce bullion. But I think that will come back albeit short opportunities. Easily £16 an ounce this year maybe start of next. Ongoing thing little and often 20 years Especially in price bear markets. But cant see teens for that often over the next 10 years. Im not happy with the inflation figures this week & fundamentals. Especially as they dont include food and energy. Dodgy mother flippers.
  11. Fab. Also Gold resources GORO, Northern Dynasty NAK & Great Western GWMO Ta.
  12. Any opinions on Kodal minerals? @HerefordBullyun @Bumble Looks like a decent break out - it could present a decent pull back soon . High volume low market cap. A nice trade or even long term hold.
  13. This is what I was thinking? Bit like the Corona Virus 😛 Right got you. Sorry I dont understand how the comet works, where its based or how it operates, hence my confusion.
  14. Who buys a half a million quid coin! How would you find a buyer to sell it on?? I bet the 5oz was expensive. I could just about afford a 1 oz LOL.
  15. I am glad I sold Afri tin, I made a decent 40% profit from that. I will buy it back if it has a sell off & repeat the process It's a hot commodity now. I was hoping no one would notice it until next year, but I think it will get sold off at some point as its a long term one that. Im buying at some point & especially in a stock market collapse. Kazamatron (or what ever its called) is good. Russian Based and a 6% dividend I think? If Im holding a stock for 5-10 years then I want to get paid for the privilege LOL. I dont know how much Uranium BHP or Rio Tinto mine, but they also pay a hefty dividend.
  16. Maybe its my lack of understanding, but I cant see many cuts taking place? Its at the same level it was last month. Its lower than it was before the first Squeeze. Thanks for the links btw.
  17. This one? Surely thats 50-80k coin??
  18. I bought a whole QB set on Ebay last year. Like anything if the seller has good feedback with similar stuff then why not trust them? Its selling on Ebay thats the problem, not buying as PM's attract's wiredos. Put a request on the sales section as wanted - this site is the best. Not one issue & many purchases. I would wait for spot to lower thats the trick with silver. I have given up with the notion of £50 silver. It might reach that but it will come back down, often sharply. I can still see £14 silver again at some point this year, but its not too bad under £20. Timing is crucial as it can be £14 one day £22 the next. As @GoldDiggerDave said getting into a set at the start is key. I bought a 10oz set & 2 x 2oz, but spot was cheap & I could see a longer term hold value for a full set. I am sure I saw they are extending the Queens beast?? My buy in for Britannia bullion is £20 a coin (including premiums). I tend to pick up premium bullion outside of that, like the scotsdale & mexican libertads etc.
  19. Welcome. Only been at it a short time too. I will keep this short and sweet. Buy on here not on Ebay. Buy from people that have a decent reputation. over £200 pay for special delivery. buy silver if its under £18 & gold if its under £1300 Silver will go up and down so wait - gold will do that with major turns in the bond and socio economic space. Buy Soverigns & Brittanias in gold. Best is ince a month budget depending and if spot is reasonable. If it hits a bear market little and often, if its in a bull market buy on the lows, sell on highs. Buy Queens Beast, Britannias & some other silver depending on preferences. Capitale gains tax exempt. collectible proofs, good deals and graded items may differ. Dont disclose personal information on posts and keep you profile secret. consider getting into mining stocks - you will make more money especially now. Thats about it.
  20. I have put a post up for these @AppleZippoandMetronome @Bixley and have realised that the ones listed on the bullion site are listed at £95. Looking on Ebay they are upwards of £250-300? Is this correct and are people cashing in on the lack of availability?? So do you think its worth waiting for a 2oz bullion coin in that case & are the 1oz proofs being rerun at some point? I want a 10oz version too, but cant stomach the proof prices. I would rather buy a 1oz gold bullion completer!
  21. I thought that was the price for 2 sets then.
  22. I guessed that. I thought there might be some credible Youtube stuff that you were savvy on. I struggle to delve through all the millennials that are just jumping on band wagons & getting channel click bait. Im finding more and more spotty faced people that think they know this that and the other but have no clue at all. Someone that actually understand on a deep level how the Comex works & are veterans of the silver market. As a bonus a knowledge of world economics & power of the socio-economic system at play now. Ie Peter Schiff, Rick Rule, Jim Rickards or the main bloke on this (cant remember his name). Thanks
  23. OK maybe this is just my complete lack of understanding. Do you have any links to a video from someone that is credible.
  24. Is it?? Only £1 so far! I thought it would at least hit £25?? 😛 This week shows the strength of those invested into silver and how its a futile endeavour given thier power & its uses going forward. Moreover they knew what was going to happen and when this time so had a plan all ready in place. Im that uninterested I have set a limit sell at my Fortuna buy in & I dont expect it to hit it. If not I will double up near the bottom its a fabulous swing trade. There might be some bargain silver miners soon if the stocks get dumped combined with an over the top suppression of the spot price to prove a point. Great longer term hold opportunity if it rallys this year, especially with juniors. I still think we can naturally see £30-50 spot silver if the fundamentals support it later this year.
  25. The main pont in this thread is to move out in an affordable way I think as you seem to have everything else sorted. You live in bournemouth which is not only a student city but also a very seasonal tourist city. To me that signifies that a lot of landlords properties might be vacant for a parts of the year. Have you thought of the following: renting out a whole house in your name & subletting the rooms. Maybe you can get one with a decent garden and section off a large area for you both. Ideally a private arrangement where the person is happy its been managed properly & getting a bit of profit also. I have done this myself and rented out 4 other rooms including the living room as a bedroom. Managing property as an air B&B agent. I know a lot of people manage mutiple properties for one or many clients. They may have properties with several rooms and give you one for free. Or you will be making so much profit it will pay for the rent on a nice house. Trailer park housing. There are some lovely places near you, towards Ringwood & edge of the forest. You have said your strong and fit, so offer to be a free handyman in exchange for accommodation. Wait. I cant see house prices getting much more, a housing price collapse is inevitable at some point. But that might also include an increase in rates?? Buy and flip properties, whilst living in them. Take the profits and buy a home in cash after a few years. Buy a house that has an annex or space to create a separate building and rent it: Even a large shed can be transformed into a 'chalet'. I have stayed in many very strange garage conversions & even a hut built into a hill over the years!! Longer term solid dwelling lets are preferable. Maybe build two of them or two in one - make them plush, but compact. Charge £700 a month and thats your mortgage paid - job done! Parking included, side access so you dont even have to see them. Direct debit = free money with next to no effort (vs air b&b). Rent a room or two in your own house. I used to do this with one room and they were largely paying my interest only mortgage!! You need to not have kids and be very cautious who you let live with you!!! I tended to favour girls as they are tidier, quieter & more thoughtful. But one other guys left at 6am, came back 9pm and went away every weekend!! Dont allow couples, its a pain in the ass. Make more money. As has been suggested do side hustles that dont take up too much ongoing time. Like online courses, drop shipping, buying and selling things that people throw out (regular dump runs). Affilate links, services on Fiverr etc. Farming - Microgreen production is massive cash cows selling to local restaurants. Set up or buy into a business that you dont actively have to manage much. Vending machines for example. That will pay for your rent. Build a camper van: You can easily do this with £15k and immediately have an asset worth in excess of £35-40k. You can live in it for free & save up money in the process. Long wheelbase Sprinters can be quite large! Build a cabin in someones garden, field or convert a garage. Easy to do, cheap, might not need planning and fun. You can also grow your own food and live off grid. Maybe even your parents house? Sling them a bit of cash or even the produce you grow?? As long as your not in the way they will be glad of the income & extra value to thier property, when you move out. I am sure you have seen these two, but you have all the answers you need here: https://www.youtube.com/c/MoneyUnshackled/videos
