  1. I have an aztec 5 ounce that I bought marked (off a member on here) I use as a coin I handle & let bronze. Lovely having the Aztec calendar on the back.
  2. Why does this have a box with the US flag on it if its from Poland? I was just about to buy one for my wife (she is Polish).
  3. Thanks - just bought one - that is a fab coin - I used to own a few of them! Holds its value well.
  4. That is always bounded about - but there was no petrodollar, credit cards, CBDC's, the internet, bitcoin, social security, sliced bread or what ever else has come since the 1930's. I bet most houses still relied on coal to cook and heat themselves. Moreover all they had was the wireless & man did the Germans know how to control using that. I personally think that whole mess was coordinated & orchestrated as most the wars we are seeing today. I dont think any of them foresaw the blitz though - thats a psychopath globalists wet dream! But i get the point - Argentina would be a better model to use IMO. On topic I can easily see gold going up this year and silver, Platinum & Palladium going down. We all know we are in a recession & inflation is much higher than advertised, just a case of something breaking or a politician admitting it and boom! I do think we might see a stock market crash of epic proportions this year or maybe next. And the elephant in the room - CBDC's they will sneak in when people are desperate - the one major reason to buy gold & tangible assets IMO.
  5. Mining stocks are good value, especially Newmont. I bought GDX yesterday.
  6. Great content & to the point - I was thinking about bitcoin when that was running. When I watch things these days I ask myself - is this person a happy person. Look at this mans eyes - does he look like a happy person? Is this a man what I want to become, follow or respect? Nope. Personal preference I guess but 100% matrix IMHO.
  7. Gold (and silver) looking very bullish today. I think it will perform very well this year. Just bought a SOV as I think its a very quick dip.
  8. I am a swing trader, every day is important. I have done really well off the ETF's especially GDX. Natural gas has been a winner for me this year - I dont have a huge account and spread risk, so it only pays the gas bill etc. its amazing how it add up though - even with £20 gains. I am going to set up a longer term portfolio though soon & start with hated sectors and undervalued ETF's (like Brazil). GDX is a good one to start with actually. I would only check that quarterly & add/allocate to all ETF's on the dips as and when. Uranium is certainly in my basket, especially if something blows up!! Sprott makes total sense to me rather than the individual miners. & I owned DNN at about 40 cents & sold it - what a muppet.
  9. Something makes me thing we might see an equities sell off soon. My Palladium stocks went over 10% and are now back at -5%, same with silver. Should have sold! I know gold is not industrial, but paper traders move on momentum & its all thin air anyway. Dont think it will move far - like last time.
  10. YEAH - Not watched his radio show for years so cant really judge. The indian guy from minority mindset is fabulous & the video above is very right about asians. As a lover of life, a lot of them get so blinded by it all they miss out on so much from my observations. I would not mind being that savvy though - Im certainly installing a bit of that knowledge and discipline into my children. https://www.youtube.com/@MinorityMindset
  11. Kiosaki. the guy who made millions selling a book on getting rich. I wonder who he stole that off. That guy is such a grifter Its the chess board grain of rice guy I bet. I have read a lot of his books - good content & a great read to be fair. He apparently flew into enemy territory to buy gold, risking the lives of his crew. He had no idea what spot value was and was bartering with a dealer for a way lower price. his rich dad in the USA said everything changed, but had no clue about spot gold price?? That is day one in physical gold school seriously? Ultimate short sighted man IMO and always wanting more and stuck in EGO. Rich now I bet not someone I would want to become going forward. That man is the perfect person to become president. says it all.
  12. It needs to formulate a new support I think as so many people have been burnt over the last few years. $3000 gold next year I recon looking at its strength and macro.
  13. Thanks @Bumble - I will definitely invest into a few of them if there is a decent draw down or crash, especially the first 3 of them! I personally am avoiding bank stocks like the plague, especially Barcklays as it has so much exposure to USA - it tanked in March! Well dome with legal and general. 10-15% is usually my sell level on swing trading, but longer term L&G should be OK? Difficult to say about banking liked stocks, dont know the company details personally. Gawd! Africa is largely one of the worst mining jurisdictions unless you really know whats going on at ground level. I have 3 stocks like this between 60-98%, one of them has a grand in it. Personally I would cash in that S&P ASAP - I doubled up my 3x leverage S&P short yesterday. We can come back to this post in 6 months and see if I am right or not. I may be wrong - as I swing trade, & have had that short for a long time.
  14. The breakout in silver is probable, but I would never hold much confidence in that given the time its been controlled for so long. 2021 proved that, but if more people jump in then it can go to $50 but it wont last long.
  15. Maybe I am being very emotional, but can anyone else see the derivatives & leverage markets at play here. The miners have hardly shot up have they & the magnificent 7 are ready to dump. Event the russell shot up. I am selling a Palladium position when the markets reopen I think. Im 15% up so not too bad. We are know we are in a recession already I think & the markets have not worked that out yet. Makes me wonder if we will see a decent sell of based on the above. I might be wonger, but gold has a tendency to suprise.. However I am wondering if something is broken with the fed (shorter term) & smarter people than me know that!!
  16. "as police would have ports and airports covered" For 14k? Its generic bullion so as long as its not all sold in one go then it wont be noticed. I don't know how much I have but I sold a ton of silver this year, but it must be at least 8-10kg? Thats not a lot of silver is it really? A lot of this is a reporter who is trying to make it sound like a Brink Matt robbery. This seems like he left his back door open & did not keep anything in a safe. They were sat watching waiting for him to have his dinner I bet. Yeah bet he is a member on here and reading this @Spyder. I would not be surprised if some of it is already listed on here.
  17. Will do. I am going to set up an account for my wife tomorrow as she is working now & she can set a level to add to her account. Nice to see Clencore in there. With a crash and recession coming, that should be hit hard! But its a producer of most metals and stuff, including Uranium, copper & Gold. Whats not to like about that going forward into the next couple of decades!!
  18. I am going to set up a 212 account for my kids I think and pick off some stocks like this as the UK is not as bad as the USA - its due a major correction & flat line IMO. They have a bank account with a pile of money my wife has let sit for over 8 years now!! She also has 20k in cash that she has held for a few years. You cant tell them Shall we all amass a list of the best dividend plays based on the yield and consistency over the years?? I use my ISA account for trading, so a new account would be good. My ISA is also full of stupid mistakes at-70% or so. I dont look at the FTSE, how healthy is it compared to the S&P in the shadow of a monumental crash, we are all expecting? I heard it was undervalued? I guess my point is that as much as I get the 'time in the market' stuff, I dont want to make sizeable 'investments' right on at the cusp of a 25-50% retrace in value, especially in banking stocks and such likes.
  19. Any top tips to remove finger prints from gold? I bought a Krugerrand at dealer rate last week & it has a few finger prints. I was wondering if my lens clear pen might work as it cleans camera lenses without a scratch, but even that might be abrasive? Its just a bog standard 1970's bullion coin btw. Thanks
  20. So what was this then?? Asian Markets possible, but who sells on a sunday at midnight?
  21. I sold a 10% (in profit) position in silver yesterday. There is a downtrend on resistance, should hit that I recon. Only a small position as I have been waiting for a further dump to under £16. Pays my electric bill. We are seeing weakness now in the markets & I can see a decent buy in point on silver by March. Especially the miners, if gold dumps too.
  22. Your not wrong there, its a bit like buying silver over gold. I have quite a bit of spare cash coming through & I was just considering another purchase. i bought £1000 of art this week! Might look into a few Whiskyes. What have I missed on Foursquare?? Wondering if the auctions are getting better for deals going forward as supply outstrips demand. Or the buying drys up as i bet a lot of hotels and restaurants, and also people that drink it at home start disappearing.
  23. the photo above says CGC? I am clueless on pokemon. I shelled out £220 on 2 boxes though. I bought £1000 of Guatemalan art work this week so on the case with tangibles.
  24. Whats on the reverse of the dragon and koi? What mint is it from or country (ie some random British territory or RM).
