@cheekyhammer and @Darr3nG Mine arrived today and it is a quarter Troy oz (7.8g) so don’t worry. It is clearly a typo on their website.
I like it, nice box and leaflet about Ireland’s independence. As someone who’s half Irish I found this very interesting. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

I emailed them and got a tracking number - apparently royal mail attempted delivery today, but didn't leave a card... Arranged redelivery for Monday.

I've not heard anything from the company nor had an order dispatch confirmation unfortunately.
While I can't confirm 100% as I don't have one in hand, I'm 99% convinced it's 1/4 troy oz though. So if it does ship it's a good find.
Edit: also for what it's worth they have 400+ in stock.

Good price considering these are low mintage proof coins.

1/4 Oz of au regardless of condition or aesthetics @ £375 landed it is a good price.
Anyone wanting to add weight 999 as cheaply as possible it is a good shout in the current market conditions

Has anyone noticed what is going on on the forum sales section!  New buyers are buying up nearly all the Gold and they will pay big premiums even bigger than Chards prices eg bullion Gold.  I for one question why someone would not seek out the cheapest source available, unless they have bought there yearly allocation from the Dealers that are still open.
As some  of you know i am a keen watcher of prices, i use price fluctuation prediction to buy my PMs which i stand by with my own money which i lose if i make bad decisions.   I personally think Gold will increase in price but will pull back when traders need cash.  This will be at the same time the mints come back into full production.

Just for the sake of easy back of the beer mat not set in stone maths, using random google generic search threads for ball park stats

" 1970s average house price - £4975  At the start of the decade the average house price was £4,975. By the end, that figure had quadrupled to £19,925. "
"In 1970, the average weekly wage was around £32. A loaf of bread cost 9p. A property could be bought in places for £4,975."
    x£32 wage x x52 weeks = £1,664 yr   or £138 a month
So, House was £4975 / £14oz  = would cost you x355oz gold to buy
An annual wage £1,664 / £14oz = would get you x83oz of gold per year pay

Today, "The median annual earnings for full-time employees in the United Kingdom was approximately £30,035 thousand British pounds in 2019. "
As the market stands as of July 2019, the average house price in the UK was 233 thousand British pounds (£233,000). The highest.7 Apr 2020

So annual wage of £30,035 / current £1400oz = x21 oz gold salary
£233,000 house / £1400oz gold = costs you x166oz of gold now to buy

Was gold cheap then and houses expensive? are houses cheap now and gold too expensive? were we better paid in 1970 ? makes you think

Fair. Two of these 1 kilo bars popped up a couple of hours ago as well, £14.65 per oz. Gone now, some greedy bugger bought them too 🙈
