Got SOTD, Piedfort silver 50p and 2oz silver proof. Didn't ideally want to be spending this kind of money on coins again, lol.

I am reassured by the replies, thank you. 😊 What would I wipe the black with to get it off?
And I presume I am ok to handle the bar freely, it wouldn’t cause it to get much worse from just handling it, would it?

All the talk of bank collapses causing the stock market to crash and burn also took place in 2008. I remember keenly following along with the information and believing the dollar and stocks could be done.
It didn’t happen and stocks went onto a mega bull run that being out of was very costly.
I don’t believe it’ll happen this time, either. I think banks and the stock market are too big to fail, society would be screwed if they did, and the elites like having their power and money.
Obviously I am a fan of having some PMs though hence being on this forum 😂

I bought this brand new 1KG Metalor silver bullion bar from a main dealer
Is the condition acceptable? This is my first bar. I understand bullion is for investment purposes, but I did choose this particular bar because I like the look and design, and intended this to be the one and only time I bought a bar this size.
Dealer site shows a flawless silver bar on their page. Elsewhere on their site they sell the same bar as pre-owned (OOS) and it has some similar marks as on the photo, perhaps worse. (Only the front is seen)
A silver Britannia in the same order is in bad shape, pretty milked. But I understand Royal Mint quality is bad.
(S/N is blanked just out of a perhaps not necessary abundance of caution, no further edits are made to the photos)

Special delivery is normally next day if Royal Mail are doing their job!
😎
If I order an in stock item and the memorial sovereign will I just receive both once the sovereign is in? And do you only use Royal Mail? Which is my preference, as other couriers don't find me! 😁

Maybe the blisters are limited, but the coins aren't. Dunno.
They’re still showing as in stock on their site?

Will these be a limited run or is there no rush to order?

Yep he's my first port of call. I don't mind getting a coin that has problems IF I am told before hand.

If I’m honest the Harry Potter design doesn’t look the greatest. Be interesting to see what it looks like in the hand when it arrives (if it arrives as apparently the 1oz were meant only for the US market)
My 1oz arrived today from BPP. Mega fast. I haven’t actually opened the package yet though not had chance!

Yeah I would appreciate any photos for comparison. Mine is actually quite nice on the reverse. I have emailed the dealer to see what they think

Received mine from a dealer the other day. Could I ask for opinions on this? I made sure to have a proper look at the coin due to some previous comments.
The coin is fine (and nice)! except for what I took a photo of, the Queen's head, it's a shame it's on a large prominent area. Does this look like normal bullion marks or milk spots or the like?
The image it looks worst on was in a room with spotlights in the ceiling. So it kind of looks worse than a 'normal look'. Second is next to a window to try to get a natural light photo and a more normal look but the light had gone a bit.
I'm still relatively new to silver so don't really know what it is. I've bought a few 1oz and 2oz coins though without this kind of issue on any of them. I am wondering if I should contact the dealer.
The coin arrived wrapped in some tissue paper inside the capsule which I was surprised about as well
Royal Mint proofs constant quality control issues - official petition?

I wish the dealers would push back regarding the quality issues. Perhaps a joint statement between them would hold some weight. They must also be getting tired of complaints.
This is the state of the front of my Piedfort Proof Coronation 50p.
Dealer has no other stock so it’s either refund or keep.
Which is frustrating as part of the reason I bought this was the relatively low mintage of the coin.
