A 25 oz 20mm silver bullet and 7 oz shotgun shell. That's why my £/oz is so high. I keep buying the gimmicky stuff
Nice to see your prepping for the zombie apocalypse. Those silver bullets will come in handy if we are also invaded by werewolfs / vampires.

Some phillys at £13.35 and pandas for £15.85 delivered. Euro rate was good and spot low.
Nice price on those pandas!
-
105 Oz Polar Bear 38mm but thick! lol
Thats a heavy bear!

Andy lays the lighthouse capsules no? Whereas Klacey has the air-tites. Air-tites are much better in my opinion. They don't have the horrible edges that the lighthouse ones do.

Silver came down to support line and is now moving slowing back up. I suspect the bottom is in.
Silver on a GBP chart looks like it's broken lows and might hear lower, but it's a deception. Only caused by exchange rates. Pull up a USD chart and you will see what I mean.
To answer the question, yea, I think it is the lowest price in £ since 2010.

Market to open in 40min. Will be very interesting to see where.
-
That's not bad at all Chris.
Yea. If you order 8 it works out at a landed cost of only £18.71 per ounce, including prepaying VAT and delivery.
The price of £49 each is a special, they had 50 for sale at that price. Now there is only 13 left.

2x 100g metalor cast silver bars
from bullionrock.com, not the cheapest silver you can buy, but I wanted to have these for my collection, and as I don't plan on selling them, I didn't mind paying a bit extra per ounce.
I will eventually hopefully buy a cast 100g gold one to go beside the silver one.Prepaid the VAT, because spot is so low the final all in cost isn't that expensive in my opinion, the delivered cost works out at £19.46 per ounce.

10 * 1 oz Pamp Bars.
Nice. Lady Fortuna or lunar?

I've bought one too. Purchased through Strenue.
I have a nice set of 1oz HR coins now, just need to collate them. All of the Perth Mints. This Royal Australian Mint, and two elephants.
I will have to put some photos up when they are all together -
Just bought 2 x 30th anniversary silver proof 1oz HR roos
1x 2014 silver proof 1oz roo
1x 2014 silver frosted 1 oz Graham crocodile from EMK ,first time I've bought from these guys.
is that the RAM mob of roo's HR coin? If so, nice!

Nice variety of gold coins there morezone!

ESB is slightly expensive I have found. Especially precious year coins.
Make sure you work all associated costs.
I bought some kook privys from ESB recently, and then worked out it would have been cheaper to buy from Apmex even with $50 shipping and customs and VAT charges!
ESB compared to silver to go might fall down to order size. As orders under 500g are only 19.90€ to be shipped with ESB. But they charge an 29.90€ on orders up to 1kg and a massive 39.90€ on orders 1-2kg. Shipping for 1kg on silver to go is only 17.95€. This is a huge difference. 17.95 vs 39.90!

Sorry silverroller, when I said I was not convinced they are great investments I meant in comparison to semi numismatic bullion.
Sure all silver is a good investment, but I do believe some is better than others, as some have the potential to grow in value even if spot price has not. I.e pandas, lunars etc.
That's just my opinion and my strategy is mainly semi numismatic stuff. But I do understand that lots of other people take a different view. Some people have a strategy to buy bullion as close to spot.
I personally think the best investments are the ones which have a combination of good price, high demand, and limited mintages.
-
I would assume they haven't increased much, the design is the same each year. Most people collecting won't bother about which year they have, sure there will be people collecting a full date run, but not as much people as those collecting Pandas and Kooks. Also the amount of people collecting 1/2 ounce silver coins is a lot lower than those collecting 1 ounce coins.
I would like to get a 1oz Noah's ark for the collection, but I am not convinced they are great investments.

@Pete. That is a lot of horses! I think the slabbed ones should be a good investment. Probably a good item to flip.
@morezone. Nice purchase on the stackers! I really like those scottsdale stacker bars. Can get stackable air-tites for them as well, which is pretty cool. -
Guys, this thread is to showcase what you "received today".
Can we keep it on topic?
I was talking about the roo that morezone put a pic up of, it's on topic
-
Just checked the mintage on those RAM BU Kangaroo's. it's unlimited.
-
Nice purchase Morezone, I ended up not buying any crocodiles, bought the graded horse instead.
That RAM roo looks nice! But they are pretty expensive considering it's just a BU coin. I presume they don't have a low mintage either, as mintage is not listed on the EMK site? If mintage was 10k like the stock horse I would have bought one at those prices.
The combibar is pretty cool, would be an awesome way to pay for things in silver! -
Chris, you need to pounce quicker on SS.
I don't have spare funds at the moment for unplanned purchases
I need to sell a few things soon, I.e a few £20 coins so that I can buy some nice coins I am after.
-
Awesome purchase dan! One set I wouldn't mind completing if I stumble upon a deal like you did.
Today I bought.....

Today I bought my first 1oz gold kangaroo coin. 2014. Can't really afford it, but haven't made any precious metal purchases in a while. With gold taking a small dip I felt it was necessary to pick up this now rather than at a possibly higher price later on in the year.
Purchased for <£800
