Re-bumping this topic (please do read in full). Please also pay attention to this point for extra risk reduction when trading on the forum. Unfortunately from time to time scammers have used the forum and it looks like someone may have also used the forum to commit fraud, to scam another member out of pocket of a substantial amount. This account was less than a year old but had good feedback history. The member has stated that they will be making a public post shortly to let the community know what has happened. And I can confirm I am also in contact with the Police in regards to the investigation. If all information that I have been provided with is correct and accurate then it looks like a very unsophisticated attempt at fraud which will no doubt get them in a lot of trouble with the police. Luckily in this situation both members held Premium Membership so we have very clear details that we can pass on.

Well, I had my display name changed from SilverGlutton (which was just plain ugly) to SilverToday which I find more suitable for all of us lol. Anyhow, a few days back I bought a 2024 proof-like 1/10oz Gold Niue Phoenix Coin that I showcased here at TSF and I really liked the design but ohhh so hard to see well enough so I decided to buy the 1oz Gold version which I received yesterday. Of coarse everyone's coins in their stack/collection look much better in hand and so does this 1oz Gold Niue lol. I can't say enough of just how attractive this proof-like 2024 1oz Gold Niue Phoenix Coin with frosted relief really is. Truly remarkable imo. And the fact it's production was limited to only 10k pieces makes it even sweeter. Compared to the pix below the Gold color is much more pronounced in hand.

I tend to buy only on the forum. As its cheaper and I can use an address that's not my home address. No proof of ID needed etc. Id worry about dealers storing my home address on their computers. They dont post to a address not on the card generally speaking. I certainly don't buy vast amounts in one go to bother with that. EBay is dodgy as I use my work address but they still give the buyer my home information i think. Set up an alarm and camera at you home as they are cheap enough . Gold or no gold you should have these anyway. It all depends what you have. Proofs in boxes would be a nightmare. Graded coins you'd like to keep at home and admire them. Bullion you can dump in a safe deposit box and forget about them or split them up around the house.

Another additional suggestion is don't tell anyone you have it or show it to anyone.
