Welcome to the forum. Great place for bargains and advice. First advice? …. Buy a higher level of membership so you can see the great deals on silver and gold before they are taken. Interact and enjoy!🤔😮👍

Britannias are a great place to start. They are CGT-exempt, very liquid and regularly for sale on TSF

Like James said, you should consider getting a premium membership (silver or above). If you don't have the membership you have to wait 3 days to see the latest trade listings, by which time the best deals are gone

With the Britannias you should pay attention to the condition and the price obviously! Your best bet for a bargain is going to be a tube (25 coins) for around £585 delivered (price fluctuates with spot price and seller). That's around £23-24/coin, which is a great price. You may want to buy capsules which you can also buy on the forum

There's lots of nice silver available on TSF if you check regularly. The Britannias and CGT-exempt coins (anything with a face value like £1, £2, £5, £10) are the best investment from a tax perspective but that doesn't mean they are the only thing you can buy. Buy what you like. I started with Britannias, I still have them, they are low premium and CGT-exempt, a great part of your stack. It's hard to resist buying all the other varieties of silver though, and don't forget about gold!

Forget all advice given above 😀, buy star wars coins , and superman coins , things with dragon’s on “ and lions , and tigers and bears”  and get them out on a Sunday morning when everyone is in bed , and have coin/ battles with them on the kitchen table 👍0039E0CB-3F3B-4790-8C79-8F2382830FF6.jpeg.8a336e70a9876c053c12e751cee4e03c.jpeg
