Dear forum members, I recently purchased these 3 American coins from an auction in the U.K. I am thinking they are possibly museum quality replicas as they look very shiny & new to me. Really not what I’m used to.

I’ve carried out a ping test on all 3 which came back good on all. I’ve studied the coins & the details do appear to match. But if there’s any of you gents more experienced at identifying replicas in US coins can you please let me know as I am worried about their new appearance & they weren’t exactly cheap if they do turn out to be replicas.

In the final picture alongside a known original for comparison.

The Mercury Dime alongside a known original for comparison. Unfortunately I don’t have a scales accurate enough for these. I’m thinking the weight may be the giveaway.

I will look a little later.  I collect Morgan’s but not this type but give you an opinion on a bit.

Not my circus, not my monkeys

Hi, @alexander11. Your coin look legit in my opinion, as they should. The details are complete, nothing indicating to be fakes.

Just enjoy them!🤗
