A 1980 copy of Playboy Predicts the Future for Silver

Recommended Posts

I think it's interesting (as a teenager, I wouldn't regard such articles to be a major attraction to invest in Playboy😆)

Hunt brothers, manipulation galore, $50 silver.

For reference, according to ShadowStats, 1980s USD was worth over 30x today's USD. Just sayin..

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

Rollerball, one of my favorite films of the 70s, was based on a short story first printed on Playboy (or was it Penthouse?) anyway, one of these fine family publications..

They came down on the Hunt brothers like a ton of bricks yet JP Morgans current silver position dwarfs theirs yet somehow they are all good and are even allowed to keep going with proven manipulation claims against them, a slap on the wrist and a fine albeit a sizeable one it's one they can easily handle and just carry on rigging.

Maybe it helps being a shareholder in the central banks?

I suspect this train of thought led Clif High to his $600/oz prediction a few years back.

Predictions are an easy way to make yourself look foolish - bold predictions mentioning a tight timeframe a lot more so. Clif is no fool, so not sure why he was so certain..

You've only gotta guess right to look like an oracle of knowledge

harry Dent and Wonga $400oz

mike Maloney $5000-$10,000

Jim Rickards$10,000+

Mr gold Jim Sinclair and bill holter $50,000+

I'll just keep buying something every month and I'll have more than the previous month

Price only relevant when you cash out
