I should have said that It was a pleasure to see the use of the word 'boon'. We are usually so impoverished in the use we make of the English language, which, owing to its very diverse origins - principally Anglo-Saxon ( +some Danish?) and Norman French, plus a bit of Celtic (and a smattering of other languages e.g. 19th century Indian and 20th century American) is probably the richest in the world.

I think the security features spoil the aesthetics of the Britannia design.  I have one of the new ones in gold and in platinum just to add them to the collection, but I prefer the 2017-20 coins to the current ones.

I appreciate why people might prefer the new ones with the security features though, and the background wave design is quite nice and the shield engraving is a bit sharper on the new coins.
