The design is nothing exceptional - I do not think it is going to do much to generate additional interest in the series which is just limping on.

Why is the RM changing the time of the release - are they having a laugh?

Yeah, got an email this morning, but found it hard to find it on RM website, eventually found the page and kept it open 🤣 just incase I lose it again 👎

i've had two emails regarding this from RM

2oz silver was max 706 for the James I

I managed to get a 2oz Silver proof.  Happy that I don’t have to buy second hand at a much higher cost.  They are already on EBay for £300

Haven't bothered with this series... too much of a gamble IMHO, and a lot of coins in the set too I seem to remember - around 22/23? 🤔

Will be sticking to secondary market Gold Sovs, and treat myself to The Tudor Beasts two coin 1oz sets with reverse proof, fairly low mintages of 100 per set so far...

They are @Gordy - I do like the reverse proof coins as it goes, so would seem to be the ideal ones for me to go for - plus the max 1000 mintage might mean they hold some value in the future...
