Hey guys Iv just been offered a bunch of these coins not some I usually collect can anyone help with the purity of silver in these as I’m clueless

For the British ones

Pre 1920 is .925 silver

Pre 1947 is .500 silver

The MTT is .833 silver

I must admit I did not know they did a 1918 Crown

You can also leverage Numista as it will give you info about the coin and usually the fineness of it as well. Just google the coin and add numista at the end and you should be halfway there. For instance “1890 double florin Numista” will lead you here:

They last visited the forum on 23rd. August last year. They probably gave up on the forum after selling their 1918 Crown for an absolute fortune
