2022 Britannia Proofs, Cold Britannia!

I REALLY dislike the stone cold visage of Britannia on the 2022 piece and have no idea as to the significance to a collector of the group portrait. Slavishly I did get the 1 and 5 oz. silvers and missed the 1/4 platinum as I was late to the party....

I think the 1/4oz platinum is back in stock x 1.

I would agree.  I’m not a fan of the group coin.  Not sure of the message there - maybe if it was part of an international womens day coin but not the Britannia series.  I did get a two oz proof regular design to keep my collection going.

It’s a bit frustrating that the release dates are kept under wraps until the day of.

The RM web site is terrible jumping back and forth away from where you think you are going, groups that arent really that related etc.  Sure I saw a decription of Core Brittanias being listed on Chards.  What that means, who knows as it never gave a definition - just the title.

I received my 2 oz silver proof Britannia today and think it’s a beautiful coin.  The black lacquer case made for a very nice package.  I ordered the coin on 3/8 and it showed up today in California- I don’t get shipments that fast from the US mint.

I passed on the group coin, maybe a mistake but I just didn’t like the design.
