i agree with dicker. This rather ornate year letter comes from the 1875 - 1899 series.

i think we can be pretty certain it is an 1884 k, - confirmed by the anchor lying on its side as well as the maker's mark.

This is the maker's mark for 1884 of Alfred George Griffiths of Hylton Street, in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. It's a match.

Just to be a bit clearer for a beginner - the side view of the lion (lion passant) is the Sterling silver mark and the anchor is Birmingham Assay Office. The anchor is a strange symbol for Birmingham which is almost as far from the sea as you can get in England. i read that Matthew Boulton stayed at the Crown & Anchor Tavern on the Strand when he was lobbying Parliament. The symbols for Sheffield and Birmingham come from the Crown and Anchor - Birmingham got the anchor as its hallmarking symbol and Sheffield the crown, which then switched to the rose in 1975.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

COVID-19 is a cover story for the collapsing economy. Green Energy isn't Green and it isn't Renewable.
