I made a few of these a couple of years ago - mostly with swear words - and gifted them. Sterling silver beads and tubes with a bit of fishing line and a couple of catches....

I'm a bit dismayed that they're now 'mainstream' !

Did you tell the ones you gave them to that there were swear words or let them figure it out for themselves?

Given these are from China, what's the chance they get the morse code message right!!

Pop down ya local chinese and give it to someone behind the counter, see what you get with the swearword bracelet - if you get a meat cleaver in the head its worked or you might get a freepack of sweet and sour pork balls! Pay your money take your chances!

Clever idea… if I was being super pedantic though, shouldn’t they have a knot or two of cord between each letter?

IIRC there’s a gap between letters of a dash length when sending morse? (Been a few years since I did my Radio Amateur exam ☺️)
