Street Fighter 2 Silver Coins

It's the 30th anniversary of Street Fighter 2 and LPM Group Ltd and New Zealand Mint have released their NEW silver coin series to commemorate the anniversary:

I know a lot of you "purists" hate these pop culture coins, but if it brings young blood to silver collecting, it's surely a good thing?

I like Marvel ,DC Comic and Star Wars Coins. I also brought the King Kong and Godzilla silver coins.

Classic art and poses from the marketing that surrounded SF2 and later SSF2 would have been better in my opinion, and not colourised. But then I grew up with the game so that's likely why I think like that.

I would have been into these if they looked decent but I dont think they do. They look like cartoons. Price is abit steep as well.

Received my order today from LPM. Everything from the coin itself to packaging and certificate looks top-notch - can't wait for the next release in the series!

Also, looks like LPM will be doing a Street Fighter 2 30th Anniversary series (separate from this Mini Fighter series). So far not much detail except for four potential designs from them (https://www.lpm.hk/en/promotional/street-fighter-ii-30th-anniversary.html)
