Today I bought.....

Recommended Posts

Today i bought a small 60 coin, coin album, i fancy something i can look at .as appose to hiding the stuff away.

I've got several of those which hold 6 coins to a page, and I've also got a couple of larger albums which hold either 12 or 20 one ounce coins per page. Prefer them to chucking coins in capsules and tubes and hiding them away.

That was the quick turn around from saying I wouldn't be buying again for 2 months fuq lol.

Holy cow KMAN  i might be wrong about this but i think bullion by post have 3 half sovereigns 2005 for £218 each so you truly have got a bargain, i think i have just noticed they have a different george and the dragon design , is that what the difference is? And i just noticed that a full 2005 sovereign on the same site is £330 quid, hats off to Atkinsons.

Yes

I haven't looked but maybe they're £218 because they're proof?

My problem is I don't like the traditional sovereign design

I do like the 2005 design though

You can buy a 1/2 2005 from chards for £115 (i think it was) + postage, or a full one for £249ish + postage

So I only got mine a little bit cheaper, but I think chards are the cheapest that actually stock them to buy anytime rather than them randomly appearing on ebay or another site like atkinsons

I've also just seen this design (never seen it before) http://atkinsonsbullion.com/gold-coins/iom-half-sovereign

I would of bought that too if it were in stock
