After Peoples opinion on this brit bar

Hello all.

I recently purchased this brit bar.

It has a strange imperfection on the side. I hope the pictures show it clearly but its almost like a small rough edge that occurs when pressing the metal.

NOTE: I was fully aware of this when buying the seller informed me and price was adjusted.

I was just after peoples opinions on what they think it is whether its a mint error or anything else ?

Let me know what you think.

Thanks all 👍

Joe.

Nothing unusual and I have seen this in bars and 10oz coins.
Just a simple metal burr by the looks of it.
With my 10 oz Queens Beast it fell off under a little finger pressure.
On these bars the edges can be very rough as if cut using a hacksaw.
If you are keeping your Brit bar in a capsule I recommend you try and remove the burrs because fragments will likely break off and scratch the face.
I have come across this and it ruins the look of a perfect bar.

Yep, just a rough cut from the die blank cutter. You are lucky to got more silver.

Sometimes when you see the opposite to this the edges or corners have a slight rounding off which is when the bar was over weight so they shave off the small amount. Tend to see this more on gold bars though.
