Hello 👋🏼,

When buying coins, bars and collectibles is there a general rule by Bullion dealers that products are sold with capsules or is it dependent on the Bullion dealer ?

And where’s the best place to get additional capsules and storage options for Coins, Bars and collectibles.

Any advice welcome and appreciated 🙂

Cheers

Silvertrader sells all his coins in capsules iirc. Most dealers don't provide capsules.

I always buy capsules from Coin Gallery.

Ah, I was specifically looking for the actual tubes the capsules fit in. I think I need a 'T'. Something like £35 from ebay when shipping from America is added!

Ah ok 👍🏼, someone else might have a site for you.

I’ll bump this post for others to help if they can 👍🏼

Hopping on this thread...
Has anyone found anywhere in the UK that sells the Airtite tubes? Ebay only has ones from America (with the shipping being £15ish).

This might help

I think it’s almost identically to air-tite tubes.

It definitely varies between dealers. GS.be only supply single coins in baggies, if they are standard bullion. Usually if a coin comes in a mint tube then they come in baggies for singles. I think coininvest/silver-to-go are the same. Bullion-by-post sent me a 1/4 oz gold coin in a baggie too, which surprised me.

Some dealers do send coins in capsules every time. They tend to be the smaller dealers like silvertrader.uk or eldoradocoins.de. They are of course a little more expensive usually, but I find service to be better generally.

Good to know thank you, I guess I will shop around a bit more to find the best deals and service.
