Reading Atrkinsons and BBP not dispatching orders currently.  It may have something to do with these new Royal Mail working conditions

" Signing for and receiving items
In order to protect both our people and customers as much as possible, we will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures. Postmen and women will instead log the name of the person accepting the item. This will apply to all deliveries that require a signature. "

I have read in the past these companies have seperate insurance cover in place for your orders.  Without personal signatures it may be the case their insurance is invalid or void if folk themselvesare not signing for it. Im not sure.  But COULD be a reason for none dispatch and orders being held in storage

I could be wrong however, just to avoid undue panics/worries some may have

I thought about that aspect of signed for stuff this morning - I got throw away vinyl gloves and Sanitiser behind front door

Gloves immediately removed and chucked outside front door into garden collect later when potential virus DEAD!

Just got an email from UK Bullion about this, they say they won't be able to send my order due to no insurance - can still collect from them locally though

Get a trash can! Not only is that a problem if blown away but it's just lazy

I picked up a parcel of silver from my local Royal Mail sorting office on Sunday.  Everything was as normal, it's just that the employee signs COVID19 in the box rather than give you the machine to sign with your finger on the touchscreen.

A degree of trust is required on both sides but you will actually see the employee sign the machine while handing the parcel to you.

It's fine in my opinion.
