Goldsilver.be customer service

I've had untroubled transactions with goldsilver.be so far because I pay for shipping with each order. However, I currently have two orders pending because the silver shield Justice 1 oz coin is on presale and not available so I've bundled the two orders together. The status has been changed today to customer-safe#2. What does it mean? Unfortunately, customer service does not answer my queries.

Why don't they answer messages?

I think you were given 'strong' hints that their customer service is not all it might be on your previous topic. Did you then do the sensible thing and search for threads about the company on here? I guess not if you're asking this.

No cause for concern but I would say do your homework - for example here it might not be in your interest to bombard them with emails until you get a reply!

Had similar with an order that arrived in September, paid shipping when ordering and got the 'safe-#2' update once the pre-order was in stock. Sent an email asking for them to send it out a few days later and it got dispatched fairly promptly after that (no direct response from them though).

That's reassuring because I paid by bank transfer rather than PayPal so there is no buyer's protection if they don't send all three orders. Do you know how long presale coins like the Justice girl silver Shield will take to be in stock?

Bit of a waste of time asking questions by email. I suspect part of the problem may be a language barrier.   I have made several thousand £'s or orders from goldsilver.be and not had an issue with those, but any enquiries about stock, availability, postage etc have gone unanswered or their replies havent actually answered the question I asked.

It is very much a mistake to use gs.be for pre-orders.  For example, the Screaming Eagle 2oz coin I first saw in March 2019 was marked as due in April.  In April is said June.  It now just says unavailable.  If I had foolishly added that to my March order who knows when I would have got the order.  Certainly not before June/July.

As far as being marked safe#2 that's fine, its secure and its yours.  They'll wait for pre-order items to be available before dispatch though.  With other dealers you could delete those missing items from your order, but they are all better at customer service than GS.

All's well that ends well for @Hennypenny then. 😊

And @SendYourCoin2Me, having somewhat of a language barrier is one thing, but from the responses I have seen the customer service representatives over there just appear to be fickle shrews to me... 😬 People are quite open and direct where I live, and we're even quite famous/rumourous for it, but even I haven't seen anything like GS.be's downright rude methods of communication around here.

In that sense, GS.be is kind of like Ryanair. You know you're treated like sh*peep*, after every flight you're thinking never again, but you take it all for granted because their prices are generally good.
