New to bullion and the silver forum

Hello everyone wanted to introduce myself to the community, already seems like a great place to learn something.

I used to collect coins from around the world when I was younger and rediscovered them recently. Having a little saved cash I thought rather than getting nothing in the bank or spending it on something that'll disappear, gold and silver was the way to go. 

I've just started a soverign collection and have 3 now (fingers crossed I'll win my 4th this evening). Any advice where to find out more about their numismatic value? Also where is the best place to buy bullion type coins rather than rare collector types.

Hi folks, 

So I thought I'd upload some pictures of the start of my collection. Think I've done ok, although wish I knew about this place before I bought some of that silver! Like a noob I went to the Royal Mint....

Also if any of you numismatic guys could let me know if I've got anything of value above the gold or silver it's made from. 

I think the 2005 Australian one is relatively rare am I correct?
