Canadian Mountie 2011 1oz Gold

Ares

Recommended Posts

Holy crap, I think I've possibly found one of my favourite gold coins. Vaguely remembered hearing about it a few years ago but now I've got a better look at it I think it could possibly be one of my top 5 coin designs.

What d'you guys think? Doubt it's probably a cheap (relatively) buy as I'd imagine all the people who bought in 2010/2011 are trying to claw back as much of the premium as possible, haven't ebay'd it or anything.

Think this version has the extra "9" purity so "9999" not the regular maple "999"

Maples are already '9999' this coin has a purity of '99999'

I'm not wild on it Ares, but I bet its one of those coins that looks a lot better in the flesh. Buy one matey and give us your verdict.

I'm hoping the Perth mint lunar goat looks better in hand but as a collector of the sets I'll buy it anyway. :)

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.
