I'm sure he does have a chance of winning but this is a bullion coin so maybe they think they can win on these grounds.

My experience of paypal claims is almost a 100% success rate but some sellers will hang on and not admit liability until you do go to paypal. I'm sure they just hope for the best.

Make sure to upload good quality picture evidence in the PayPal dispute.  If you want any help, feel free to send a PM - I've had a few PayPal disputes as both buyer and seller, and won every one thus far.

You will need to say that the item was not as described - i.e. it arrived damaged.

Thanks mate I will do it at some point today it was bought from my brothers account so need to wait for him to do it.

Maybe they want you to dispute it so if they win,It can be seen as the buyer being in the wrong.Rather then telling you sorry no refunds via an email etc etc.

Or if they just pay up,why not just refund you to avoid this.

Did you get the refund through the Paypal dispute system or by eventually negotiating (I'm guessing the former but it's not clear to me, maybe I'm missing something?). Either way, it took a long time, holidays or not!

Through paypal dispute. Gs.be never replied at all when it got took to the resolution centre. 

So you have to give them so many days
