Hi all

A month ago I did not know the price of gold or silver and had never heard of spot (price or milk!)
My partner and I had an email from her son who is teaching in China which said words to the effect of:
'I am sending over some money, please invest it in gold for me'.
So after a bit of research online we ended up buying Sovereigns, Britannias and a bar from Baird Mint.
While doing said research I discovered the existence of 1oz silver bullion coins!
I am semi-retired, on a limited budget and in need of a hobby so collecting a few of the cheaper end coins seems to fit the bill. I found The Silver Forum via watching BackyardBullion on Youtube and here I am.
As I said I will be collecting a few cheap bullion coins, not looking to stack my own bodyweight, go semi numi or anything crazy! However there is one coin I have my eye on, the silver Krugerrand. Over priced bullion I hear you cry, maybe but I just have to have one as they remind me of the gold ones I used to see in my grandparents safe in the 1970's…. But that's another story!

Hi and welcome to stacking...

You could do worse than having a look at, the very same, BYB's group buy from gs.be. (VAT free) - no minimum nor maximum purchase required.

Welcome! I used Silver-to-go for vat free Silver about 5 times. Never pay VAT for Silver is my biggest tip :-)

A bit of catching up... welcome but by now you have already accumulated a nica stack if 1/2 sovereigns, so you surely found your way round. And you can always swap some of them for a full Krugerrand...
