  2. 1847, does it have an edge inscription reading Undecimo or Septimo or is it plain? Amazing coin by the way!
  3. You'd be surprised at what a change of light and aperture can do to an image. I 'm not saying you are wrong but I'm not sure you are right either regarding it not being the same coin. As to whether it's fake, it could well be, as another poster stated the lettering does seem a bit bold. If I was interested in buying it I would ask for another picture. The seller also has quite a few coins for sale and very good feedback, I doubt they would knowingly sell a fake, although, he does'n't have a photo of this one on a scale!
  4. So, I just found the listing and had a good look, another resemblance that stood out in both photos is the slight depression in the rim at around 11' o clock above St Georges shoulder.
  5. It's hard to be sure if they are different coins given the poor photography, but I see your points. One thing that stands out to me though is the slight misshapen rim above the N N, it looks very similar in both coins to my eye. The variances could be down to poor light, different angles and low res?
  6. I don't have any experience with Bullion Vault but I, and probably a few others here would recommend Glint https://glintpay.com/ if you wanted a vaulting option at a very low cost. The purchase of gold is also very cheap and you can spend it, if you wish, with a Mastercard, you can also buy and spend USD and Euros. However I think most would also recommend that you hold physical metals at home or close by in the form of Sovereigns and/or Britannias which are capital gains and VAT free.
  7. Whilst delays can be unforeseen, especially during these twisted times, perhaps a fairer company might offer to return your money or allow you to cancel the order? As to discounting the item on arrival, I would be inclined to contact @PowerCoinand ask for a refund of the difference, especially as I had been waiting so long. You should take the matter up with them and try to come to an agreement or maybe just go elsewhere in the future?
  8. Yeah, this is a good one and there are dozens of others on Youtube as well. Try this one, the first of two parts.
  9. No, I don't have children or a TV, just a monitor, PC and PS4 that doesn't see much use.
  10. I'm guessing that's something children play with or watch?
  11. I'm not going to pretend I know what that thing is but the first image looks best!
  12. Personally I felt the same way, you just have to do the diligence. Check the sellers feedback, other items for sale and ask them questions about the items. Most of my pre 33 has come from ebay and has all been legitimate. I do take the extra measure of taking the item to my local jeweler who does a XRF test for £3. That also applies to everything I buy from here, which isn't much but is more than I have feedback for.
  13. I was after one of those a while back and so I did an ebay search then saved it and set up notifications of any new listings. After a short while one came up, I paid less than £200 for it. 1908 and in exceptional condition. I have one piece of advice with regards to getting the coins you want it's, be patient! It always works for me, sooner or later an opportunity will arise.
