Aylesbury Bullion Company have a Sigma tester in store which they bring out for anyone who wants their precious metals verified. Usually for their regular customers but I'm sure they won't mind testing a few coins for a potential future customer. Not sure if location is convenient to where you live.

Yes it is the larger version. I didn't realise there was a 28mm version until I looked it up today. I'm sure someone on the forum bought the large gold medal a few years ago, looks lovely.

Had a result today with the silver maples from an antique dealer at £20 each and the Queen Victoria silver medal from my local bullion dealer was a decent price as well.

They're not as discreet as you for sure. When I went to customer services to collect it, the woman shouted to one of her colleagues to go into the store room to pick up a sovereign. There's me standing there with a few customers in the area staring right at me. Talk about painting a target on me

Today's price was £339.99 It was cheaper at the start of the week but as it was payday I thought I'd treat myself but didn't expect to fill out a precious metal - special order form after paying for it. I was told that a form must be filled out for traceability but there's nothing to stop you putting in any old address. A bit odd that a form is required since they have my details on my membership card when I went to pay at the till.

I've just been on the phone to the Royal Mint to enquire where my 5oz silver GC is & they said the next ones ready for despatch will be on the 4th. February as they haven't all been minted yet! Surely it should come with a 2022 date considering the minting delay.

I hope my 5oz silver is worth the wait as I still haven't had an update regarding delivery. I'm worried I'll be right at the back of the queue and stuck with a flawed return after they've reminted for the first ones who've sent back to them & won't mint anymore replacements. All excitement for it's arrival has long gone now.

My mother in law had quite a few young head Victioria tokens a while back she inherited from her neighbour but I could never find out who made them. I suppose all made by this same firm way back then.
