Delivery from Yodel.  2015 1/10 Call of the Wild Series Howling Wolf & Panda round from the Berlin Mint.  I'm hoping they continue the series in 1/10 with the Cougar & Grizzly.
 

Needed to add some silver to the stack - Just received these today

Everyone 's favourite droid in 1/4 gold.  Not purchased the 1oz silver yet but is on the list for when I next make an order.
Also picked up my new mouse mat to replace my old manky one.

Two pick-ups this weekend - one was showcased by Morezone and Numistacker on Youtube, the other to add to my 1/4 oz collection I just recently started. 
 

Was quite tempted to get one of these the other day even though I don't buy Pobjoy generally. Fabulous design.

The 1/4 Brit on HGM on Friday, was a 2010, not a design I have had in hand before.

With the Pobjoy Mint discontinuing it's relationship with the Isle of Man later in the year I decided to pickup the 175th Anniversary Penny Black Crown now rather than later since they had a 20% sale during July. I've been after it for sometime and almost pulled the trigger with Island Stamps and Coins for the 5oz version during their Black Friday sale.
Also received a 1/10 Cook Islands Bounty from Germany. Been after it for ages but I believe the 1/10th was only ever minted in 2009 and rarely comes up for sale. Carried an eye watering premium for a bullion coin but as a collector I couldn't let it slip me by.

  Uncirculated (UNC)
Uncirculated coins are manufactured in much the same way as circulated coins except for the following:
More attention and time is given to the preparation of the die surface finish, The coins are struck with greater pressure than the circulating coins to improve the sharpness of the design. More care and attention is applied at each step in the coining process to minimise damage, consequently a much lower production rate of about 30,000 coins per press per day is achieved. Uncirculated coins are packaged individually into plastic sleeves, presentation folders or occasionally presentation cases.

The latest 5g Panda Notes from the Nanjing Mint.  This time there are 3 variations.  Normal, coloured and relief.  It's hard to see in pics but in hand, you can clearly see that the pandas are not flat in the relief version.  The same goes for the temple on all the notes.  It's still early days but in a few years I can see these being very impressive.

Had a bit of time off from work today so had some fun at my local registered numismatic coin dealer just now...

Little silver after a while. Half tube of queens beasts and a 10oz kook. Wanted few of these beasts and have to say they are pretty impressive design wise. None of these are perfect in quality - little dings here and there but not too shabby. Good service from GoldSilberMunzenShop again...

 
Also few days back my first graded coins with mostly gold Pandas came back with few examples below. I still have few coins pending at the NCS. Pretty much what I was expecting. The gold dollar is a bummer but them scratches are very obvious now when looking with a loupe. Anyhow rarest of the New Orleans Mint gold dollars and great that it came back uncirculated.
